She annoyed the hell out of me in WoH!! I understand that this is the way the character (playful and immature)…
thanks for sharing. I think Z Lusi's character in WrtW is a closer fit to the novel YH. We're all curious for the drama in any case.

I'm not gonna spoil lol I'll just say Yan Hui's character is someone I see zhou ye playing really well
yes - if that's the drama adaptation then either pretence or she is weak and undergoes some kind of transformation. Agree that the last scenario sounds unsatisfying.

yes, agree. Novel YH and drama WoH GX share a few similarities, but YH is not immature in the slightest. A little inclined to over-estimate her own strengths, but equally capable of also identifying where and how to use the strength of others.

hello BftBers....i've joined because i am sooooooo looking forward to this adaptation. Having seen Who Rules the World (WRtW) Zhao Lusi, she would have been a good fit for Yan Hui. Hope Zhou Ye tones down the brattishness from Word of Honour (WoH) - YH is more mature and self-directed.

Novel YH powers are deactivated after her first fight with the snake demon (his poison counteracts her powers). Novel YH actually advanced for her level in her sect. But drama adaptation who knows....
