Yesss both the leads have their fair share of flaws and nobody's perfect.. with that being said I'm looking forward to how they're going to overcome that. Will definitely share my final thoughts after completing the show!
i read the recap and decided to drop this because I feel enraged and just can't handle the injustice FL had to…
I know that ML did her wrong and made her suffer but he only did it so she and her family won't be implicated for his actions.. and tbh if it were the other way around we all know that with the FL's personality she would have spared no means to get revenge for her family and do the same.. so I won't blame Zisheng much even though he was majorly at fault since he too suffered alot.
Watched till ep 33 and I can't help but dislike the FL at this point, I'm getting kinda irked by her actions. I do like her witty and unrestrained personality but sometimes it's a bit too much. She keeps saying that she doesn't know and ML doesn't tell her anything but she's the one who isn't willing to pay any attention when he advised her repeatedly not to get involved in palace politics. Why even get into something you know nothing about. Also she complains that ML doesn't discuss his actions with her but then what about her, doesn't she do the same? She too seldom tells him before doing anything.. I know that she's still young but even for a 15 yr old she needs to understand that every action has a consequence and that sometimes her actions won't only implicate her but also others around her. She always acts recklessly but when it's time to face the music she always plays the victim that how she's not smart and good enough and never owns up to her fault but instead blames others. She's just pathetically stubborn. Morever, she keeps saying that marrying Zisheng would restrain her freedom and she won't be able to be herslef but what about ML then? Won't he also lose his freedom by being with her.. why does he have to change for her when she's is not willing to the same? A relationship requires efforts from both sides but in this case it's always the ML who comprises in the end and is even trying to change his ways to get along with her. Hope to see more character development for her by the end. End of rant lol... but aside from all this still loving every bit of this show so far ^^
I can already tell that Xu Kai is once again going to nail his role. Really like how he chooses different kinds of script everytime and all his roles are unique from the previous ones he played. Very excited to see him on my screen again <3
This show is quite underrated and surely deserves a much higher rating imo. Loved its laid-back, warm tone and soothing osts. Also, the friendships were so endearing. Gave me all the good and fuzzy feels which is exactly what I needed atm. Defo added to my list of comfort shows ❤
This is one of my most highly anticipated modern cdrama along with Lighter & Princess this quarter. I'll be more than happy if they release all the episodes at once..^^

I think the body swap thing is quite fun as of yet but I don't want XLH to cause any more trouble for DFQC and land both of them in hot waters... she's too naive for her own good. Hope that they switch back in the next epsiode.

Ep.9 was EPIC!!! Never really liked Dylan Wang before but he's it nailing it here. Finally the plot is starting to pick up pace, looking forward to more episodes <3
