yes! i heard rumors it might be reshot with Johnny Huang but i hope it's someone else!
Oh well.... doesn't matter who the ML is cuz this won't be the same without Deng lun.... for me at least.... was actually hoping for Netflix or some other streaming site to buy the rights for this one. Will give it a try nonetheless because the concept and the visuals look appealing, but I guess it will be a long wait because of the reshooting and all that....
OMG , I thought something was wrong with my brain π I came on here checking to see if this show had subtitle…
Lol, no there's nothing wrong with your brain π it's just a MGTV thing, as always, they have issues with their subbing.... how I wish this show was available at some other platform so I could enjoy it thoroughly.
same omg! I'm on episode 17, and I'm starting to get hella annoyed at her character... so immature even for an…
Well, she does get a little better near the end but still can't bring myself to like her. She was just plain rude for no good reason ~ especially to the ML.
does this show have 29 eps or 32 eps? can someone clarify?
There are actually two versions available- the tv version ( with 32 episodes) and the online/dvd version ( having 29 episodes). The only difference between the two is the length of the episodes ~ the tv version has shorter episodes ( 40-43 minutes) while in online version the episodes are a bit longer ( 46-47 mins). The rest of the content is the same just the timings are different.
Waited forΒ more than 2 years for this to come out ( it's the longest I'd have to wait for a show tbh lol) and finally got the time to binge.Glad to announce that it definitely lived up to my expectations π―.... yes it might be slow and draggy for some but just the kind of show I was looking for atm. So wholesome and totally worth the wait. Loved how they showed the slice of life aspect with day to day problems, without overdoing it. Also the interactions between the leads were sooo cute and the little bonus scenes at the end were EVERYTHING! All in all, I don't think I'm getting over this cp any time soon π₯Ίππ
How does this compare with Once Again? (I'm assuming you finished it watching by now)
Most weekend dramas are always this long and so they tend to drag in the middle but it's okay if the pacing is done right and conflicts are resolved rather quickly and smoothly. As for this one, it became quite boring once they got married i.e. after 40ishh episodes so I put it on hold. But all in all it is a good show : ) would recommend it if you have some free time and nothing else to watch.
Lol, I swear I thought the same when I watched L&R (actually wanted to strangle him to death in that) but eventually came to like him after Love at Night and Ancient Love Poetry. He's quite good as an actor imo. Maybe try some of his other works to ease your hatred for King Bailing? And the fact that he made you loathe his character to such extent shows how good of an actor he is...
Want to punch myself for putting this on hold after first 3 episodes back when it aired. But Ig was just not in the right mood for this kind of show then. Almost missed this gem due to my lack of patience. The plot really picks up after EP 14 and the story unfolds slowly but smoothly. Loving every bit of it so far. It's probably going to become my fav xianxia after L&R. Also the production and CGIs here are no joke!
