it's been a couple days since i finished this but i can't stop thinking about how ohmfluke's episode has so much more potential because i could see this type of plot as the base of a mini series or even a full series but 20 minutes is just too short to flesh it out to it's full potential it's kinda sad
in defence of the finale i think they did the best with the little time they had as well as how few episodes they…
though i think the whole revealing the truth behind Tee & the SA should've been handled better because it was literally done so quickly if you blinked you would've missed it & it almost came across like it was "less important" than James & Ait's relationship
the two main plot points are both extremely important in very different ways and I feel putting both of the "reveals" in the finale, whilst focusing on one more than the other wasn't the best idea. If they had maybe one more episode and have one episode focused on James/Ait like how we kind of got and then in the next one Bas stepping forward with Kaprao to reveal everything that happened with Tee i think more people would've accepted that (i honestly thought when i saw how little time was left in the episode that they were gonna not mention the SA yet and leave that for another season and then it was just thrown in quickly near the end & i was like what just like that ????)
james's speech in the finale was excellent though i will give them that
in defence of the finale i think they did the best with the little time they had as well as how few episodes they had for the series as a whole, the actors did an excellent job with this series, some things could've & should've been handled better yes but overall I think it for the most part did what they wanted it to do
the destiny memories/visions thing made me think more of a "wayu is thanu's past and phai is thanu's future" rather than thanu is meant to be with wayu because all the visions he had with phai were about the future whereas the one he experienced with wayu was about the past
if/when we get season 2 i kind of expect them to go in that direction especially with pha being back but who knows
if we do get this series i really hope that they bring in more of the found family aspect that the webtoon had,…
also bring back wookyuri idgaf if they can explain them actually being alive (i know wook is possessed in the drama but is he still alive in there idk) i'm still not over how they robbed us over our only proper endgame couple T_T
if we do get this series i really hope that they bring in more of the found family aspect that the webtoon had, it's gonna be difficult given that the found family was many of the characters that died (in both the webtoon & adaption, give or take 2 additional deaths that are drama-only) but as much as i loved the first season & thought it was a good adaption (up until ep 9 & all the major changes kicked in) i missed that part the most
(no eng subs yet but probably will be in a couple days)
