You may not, but the law does. In China, drugs and prostitution are illegal.
You know, in many countries prostitution is illegal and drugs even more so. I am a citizen of the EU and I have no problem that my government protects women from prostitution and all citizens from drugs. Your country may have different customs, different laws, but calling any government totalitarian because it doesn't allow prostitution and drugs is really funny, ha ha ha ha :)

Officially, nothing is known about who will play YBY. This role officially remains unfilled. The character will almost certainly appear in the second season.

You're welcome :) Tencent is shameless like all platforms and all c-ent. I've been watching them for five years and believe me, I've seen more than one thing and I don't believe any promises anymore. Ignoring those promises is the best thing you can do for your own good.
Does anyone know who the broadcasting license depends on? And why does it take so long to get a license? Who decides…
A government institution, as in most countries, oversees the issuance of licenses. The process is lengthy and begins with a script and the issuance of a license to begin production. If you are inquiring about the release of a finished drama, this is handled by the same agency. Producers send them the drama, which is evaluated for correctness against the required standards. There must not be certain harmful elements in the drama. I don't know how long the verification process currently takes. Last time I remember it was 60 days. During this time, the drama must get a decision. If the bureau decides that an element should be corrected (for example, in a historical drama there are bad costumes, or scenes from the list of elements that must not be shown) the drama is sent back for correction. After the corrections, the process begins again. If the production has done everything ok, the drama is allowed unhindered, but if it needs to be corrected, it can take a really long time. In theory, all dramas are treated equally. The exceptions are dramas on the priority list, i.e. those that have special patronage from the ministry as having a high positive impact (for example, Where Dreams Begins). These are reviewed first, but they are few in number. If a TLP doesn't yet have a number and a license, it can mean two things, either it's still in post-production (making CGI sometimes takes long months, even years) or some element in the drama didn't comply with the guidelines and the drama went back for revisions. This license allows commercial talks to begin as to whom the drama will be sold, although often these talks are finalized beforehand. TLP was supposed to be a webdrama, but if any TV station really wants to have this drama, TLP has to go through stricter censorship. In my opinion, we have just such a situation here. But this is just my guess.
An interesting case of unwarranted pessimism probably to provoke aggressive comments. Except that... You can try…
The S+ production is a planned showcase for the station, a big production with big money, big advertising and the most famous names. But most of all with the most money. An S+ production does not guarantee success, and there can always be a black horse in the form of a cheap but coolly made production. TOoL was shot with an absurdly small budget, but the actors showed they were good and didn't need big special effects to do it. The S+ production is sort of the equivalent of a Hollywood superproduction. The most famous actors are invited, the biggest special effects are made and months or years are spent on CGI, The producers do everything to make it a hit. Only sometimes it turns out that a low-budget film has a better plot and is more appealing to the audience.
you do know you can support other actors and actress right beside him right? it stupid of you to not watch this…
If you go to a party with five people from work, four of them you like, but the fifth one makes you have a vomiting reflex (and you know very well that there is a reason for this) there is a high probability that despite these four people you will not have a good time, because every time you see this fifth face you will feel nauseous and will have in front of your eyes the reason why you dislike this person so much. This is why people boycott actors. I'm not urging a boycott, because everyone has the right to watch what they want and who they want. And if the viewer does not have the right to express his or her opinion about the immoral behavior of certain people and how this behavior affects the viewer, it will give tacit permission for other actors to also behave immorally, because, after all, there are no consequences because of this. I suspect that every actor playing in this drama and member of the production knows about the controversial actor. If they nevertheless chose to work with him, they must face the consequences of their decision. They took a risk. Some viewers will turn a blind eye to the presence of a sex offender in the cast, others will not. That is their right. You have the right to turn a blind eye, others have the right not to watch the drama because of the cast. And just as you have the right to make your statements on the forum, they have the right to make theirs. I guarantee that your comments are as annoying to them as their comments are to you. There is really no need to call anyone stupid just because they have a different opinion than you.
I am disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high? So far the drama evokes unpleasant impressions in me and I couldn't find a connection with any of the characters. It seems to me that the producers put too much emphasis on the form and the fact that Ji Sung is playing there. The first episode irritated me so much that I dropped it in 1/3. I will probably return to this drama, but the first impression was very negative.
guys are you sure that Heo Sung Tae's character is a helper of the MC? XD he doesn't look it. The photos are making…
The villain-looking sidekick is the best at mysterious criminal cases. The bad guys need to be squeezed sometimes :) I am reminded of Psychopath Diary.
After the eighteenth episode, I'm still annoyed by how many side stories we have. Probably more than 70% are stories about aunts, uncles, fiancé's aunts, fiancé's uncles. Don't get me wrong, I like good side stories, but never at the expense of the main story. Nonetheless, ML and the emperor make up for everything and today I even had tears in my eyes when these two talked to each other. They are the treasure of this drama for me. If this drama was more ML centric, I would treasure it more. So the more ML has screen time, the higher my rating. The acting is very good. Perfectly matched to the characters played by the actors. I miss FL's grandmother.
