There are various reasons why drama cannot be broadcast right away. Some require a lot of post-production, others have a problem with censorship. Some, however, want to earn as much as possible and drag on negotiations.
When it comes to "The Wolf", I'm sure many people will be disappointed for various reasons. Some people recognize that special effects are outdated. Others say they expected a more interesting story. The longer you wait, the higher your expectations ... and the greater disappointment. I approach the drama from a distance now. I know that I will not like some of its elements, but I hope that a few others will make up for these shortcomings. There is no perfect drama, and I am ready to turn a blind eye to imperfections of "The Wolf" and have fun watching it :)

Probably only an ecological disaster or war can stop "The Wolf" from broadcasting this year. At 99.7% this May. I can enumerate dozens of erguments for the fact that it will be soon, although recently I heard that next week.

I don't understand why people value this drama so highly? No offense, but the photos are not the best, the story is rather banal, the costumes, set design and acting don't knock down and I don't even remember the music. Maybe I just saw too many dramas and the "Legend of Avakening" is simply average?
I like Feiyu, but in the first episodes his character is too much like Ning Que and in the next episodes he loses any color. The first few episodes were even fun, but now (episode 28) I don't remember, when the last time I laughed or even smiled.
My guess is that Lu Ping's tragedy can be appealing, but when a character loses dynamics, can it rely solely on the compassion of the viewer?
For me, the drama is ok, although I seriously wonder whether to give it up. Why she is so liked by viewers remains a mystery to me. I won't mind if someone wants to convince me that there is something really cool about this drama, only I can't see it. Maybe someone will open my eyes.

I agree that they will release "The Wolf" without notice. They have already done so with various dramas and let's face it, in the current situation it will be the best move. Heaven, earth and my entrails tell me that we will not get an official date, and even if it appears I will believe in it for 50%. I am sure that one sunny day I will start MDL and see the post by Alice Wang: "It's already !!!!!" and then a few links where it is exactly :)

I love this program just like that. I watched every episode before the subtitles appeared and although I hardly understand Chinese at all, I had a great time :) I won't hide that I started watching this program for Xiao Zhan, but already in the first episode I watched, it turned out that other participants are great. The program is attended by really wonderful, laughing people who are full of mutual respect and friendship. For this I really appreciate the music in "Our Song". It is very difficult to sing duets with someone new, and in this program they sounded just wonderful.
For me, Xiao Zhan was the biggest ornament of this program, but not the only one. XZ microexpressions are simply priceless, but all participants impressed me. "Our Song" replays or selected songs I watch to this day. It's really worth watching "Our Song".

We have a little misunderstanding here. I don't think there is anything wrong with the words "i dont like this girl at all". People should understand that remembering names from a foreign language can be difficult, after all we come from different countries and many have similar problems. I didn't mean that statement. I don't know if the information about this 3 seasons contract is true, but it seems that in order to avoid the actors withdrawing from the following seasons in "JoL" they did it a bit experimentally because they want to tell the whole story from beginning to end without changing cast Nobody expected Xz to explode so much and a problem would happen :) The rest of the cast was rather safe because they had a stable position on the market. Let's not kid ourselves, most of the young actors in "JoL" are good actors, but with a stable, peaceful career and only ZRY is in the first "hot" ten. "JoL" was expected to be a hit, so with such a big competition signing a 3 seasons contract is a treat.
Someone once made public how much XZ got for the main role in The Untamed. It was just funny money. Popular actors get more for guest roles than he for the main role in the drama of 50 episodes. The actor playing the emperor in "JoL" is in the first place the most popular stars outside the continent and he also had to get a lot. He even had the status of the main role, although in season 1 he probably had less airtime than the XF midfielder (I forgot what he was called). I bet LiQin got less than this famous old actor.

I understand what you are worried about. However, we have two interesting points here. 1 - XZ from the beginning has signed a contract for three seasons "JoL". He may terminate the contract and pay the penalty, but he will not, because it is in line with his professional ethics. I think that every character is important for every drama, even the episodic one, because each of them creates the whole picture and atmosphere of the drama. I did not read the book, but from the general outline it can be seen that the thread of cooperation and competition (also for a woman) of both male heroes is very important for the story.
