Worse is I doubt if it's even his fans fault to begin with. Recently his haters attack a famous host call He Jiong…
Actually, not only ZhanZhan has haters. In April, several stars filed defamation lawsuits. XZ is just too merciful, too good, too popular and has no agency protection, so it's an easy target. But I don't know bolder and more persistent man, that's why, like all his fans, I look forward to his new projects. Hate haters accompanied him even before his debut, but the scale of the last wave and its cruelty was not seen by anyone in the world.
Yes, this incident showed how great XZ is. Maybe I sound like a crazy fan, but go through such a hell and still have words of consolation and support for others - I think it deserves respect.
I am very curious about your reaction to "Our Song". Some performances of NaZhanDui still blow up the minds of viewers :) Just WOW!

OMGGGG XIAO ZHAN'S ACTING WAS JUST ON ANOTHER LEVEL IN THE UNTAMED JUST OUT OF THIS WORLD
I totally agree with you. I've never seen such a phenomenal acting.
When "The Untamed" premiered in Japan, Japanese women complained that they couldn't read the subtitles because they couldn't take their eyes off XZ :)
I had exactly the same for the first 10 replays of "The Untamed".
With this actor even the ads are wonderful :)
On Douluo Continent May 3, 2020
"Douluo Dalu" is scheduled for broadcast in 2020. It was already mentioned in January, in March I heard confirmation. There is no exact date because the series is still in post-production. It takes a little while to make good special effects, and fantasy drama hardly ever appears in China sooner than after a year. It was planned for summer holidays, but there is no information whether the epidemic caused the delay. The creators will definitely want to broadcast it in the summer, but I hope that they do not do so at the expense of production quality, In China this is a highly anticipated drama and everyone is expecting huge viewership, which is why I don't think anyone deliberately delayed it. The only question is how quickly they will finish it and how quickly the drama will successfully censor.
I would not expect a reincarnation thread. In China, it is not allowed for television dramas and due to the number of episodes I conclude that they will want to broadcast it on television.
I think it will appear in July or November 2020.

I read a comment that said XZ, in an Untamed interview, said he learned a lot while acting in this drama, now…
It is true that for XZ the "The Wolf" movie set was like an acting school. He played set during the day and studied acting at night. It was very hard for him because he was playing an important role for the first time and there was no reduced tariff because he is an amateur.
One day he couldn't cope with the scene where he was supposed to cry, he was desperate, stressed and thought about quitting it all. One of the directors brought him an alcohol, told him to drink and relax. XZ has a very weak head and after one beer he is already drunk. He drank with the director and began to cry. The director told him to write down and remember his emotions.
I don't know how his crying scene in "The Wolf" came out, but I do know that in "The Untamed" he was a master of tears. So yes, he certainly learned a lot on "The Wolf".

March for XZ and his fans was hell. Be glad you didn't know what was happening then. Haters accused him of everything they came up with. I have never seen such a wave of hatred and such violence on the web. But XZ did not give up. In April, he released 2 singles full of positive energy and published three own drawings that captured human hearts. He is loved in China and around the world and more and more people are starting to like and support him very much. Interestingly, most of his fans are adults and older people. His oldest fan I know is almost 80 years old! CCTV, the most important (government) station in China, a few days ago broadcast a replay of the prestigious program in which he performed with two songs. Shanghai TV from time to time releases new video albums available on youtube, they are compilations from their music programs and the song NaZhanDui will almost always be there.
Every XZ fan should watch "Our Song", a music program where XZ performed with NaYing as a NaZhanDui duo. I assure you that nobody will be disappointed. All episodes are available on youtube, XZ appears in 3.4, 6 (these are with subtitles) and in all from 8-14. "Our Song" was the best 2019 music program in China. It's really worth watching, although I warn you, it's addictive :)

I am also in this minority :) I really like XZ as an actor and person, but Li Qin is my favorite actress, Darren…
XZ is very natural. He doesn't actually play his part, but rather becomes the characters he plays. In his roles he is imperfect, but in my opinion this imperfection makes his characters more real, more natural. I didn't like his character in The Untamed for a long time, but I was fascinated by an actor who could play really bravado. In one scene in ep. 16 or 17 I felt his emotions so much like I never had before in any other series or movie. It was a combination of horror, powerlessness and desperation. After nine months, I still remember looking at him trembling and wondering fascinated "will he break or won't he break?"
Li Qin was wonderful in "Princess Agents". I watched this drama only for her. Just then I fell in love with her. I don't like her in "Joy of Life" but I love her in "Jade Dynasty". ("Jade Dynasty", Joy of Life "and" Battle Through Heaven "are three projects where XZ and LQ performed together. And" The Wolf "as the fourth (actually the second).

As of now, Xiao Zhan broke all the records possible with his new song "Spotlight" in China, the most sold ever…
100 million copies sold in less than 100 hours. Records broken on each of the 9 platforms where there is sales.
I'm a little scared how red XZ is.
If "The Wolf" will be broadcast on several platforms at the same time, it will be more difficult to break the record, but at least the servers will not fail due to too much load :)

I am also in this minority :) I really like XZ as an actor and person, but Li Qin is my favorite actress, Darren has not seen, but I am very curious about him, besides, in the smaller roles played a lot of actors whom I like. In addition, the story is original and the production is good (may it be good), so I'm waiting for this series for its own value. XZ is a bonus;)

Is not only Youku, will be a simulcast, iQIYI, Youku, Tencent will air the drama on the same time in China.
Yes, I heard about it, but so far on YouTube I saw the trailer only on Youku. Since many dramas appear on youtube on official channels, I wonder if they also plan to do so? I watched "Joy of Life" on the official youtube channel and the version with subtitles appeared regularly and very quickly. So I hope some channel will post "The Wolf" on youtube.

I don't know if objectively XZ is a good actor. I don't know what it means to "be a good actor" objectively. For me, a good actor is someone who is credible in every role he plays. I saw XZ in a minimum of eight different roles and in each he was absolutely convincing. It doesn't matter if he was aristocratic Moran, frivolous and tragic Wei Ying, distrustful Bingyun or stupid Xiaofan. I believed him 100% in every role. I cry when he cries, I laugh when he laughs. Therefore, I look forward to his every new role, looking forward to what his next creation will bring extraordinary and beautiful.
I don't know if Xiao Zhan is a good actor, but I know that for me he is the best actor in the world.

I really feel sad for him with all his fans' war. Imagine, one day, he woke up and see all this bad news. He might…
I think he didn't sleep a minute that night and could see all his work being destroyed at an alarming rate. This is even more terrible.
XZ's relationships with fans have always been special and he always gave them guidelines from the beginning and Xiao Fei Xia are really wonderful people (ok, extreme cases are everywhere) and they also fell victim to the 227 incident. His fans as soon as they confessed that they are his fans, fell victim to terrible violence. Millions of innocent fans. Even now haters are attacking blindly, everyone. However, when it comes to listening to XZ, it's actually different. When his new single, "Spotlight," was selling like crazy breaking records, his Studio again asked fans to be moderate and reasonable. Fans don't listen. "Spotlight" has long broken the annual sales record and is still selling like crazy.
The fans are guided by love mixed with guilt and joyful elation that they can finally clearly help their idol. And haters don't stop. XZ again reminded his fans that they were to be kind to others.
XZ's relationship with fans is special because fans treat him like their older (or younger) brother, or as a son (grandson). They let him become a member of XNINE and then get their own single ("Man Zu"). He also defends them. When a certain company he posed for the magazine raised the price several times, he convinced them to refund the difference. Even a day or two ago, when one music platform was charging for listening to "Song of Red Plum" he led the company to return the money to fans. I don't know if he asked, threatened or covered the difference himself, but the money returned to the clients' accounts.
That is why Asian fans really love him crazy.
And all this hate he collects is not the fault of his fans. It is an organized, long prepared action of professionals. Yes, in China (all over East Asia) such things really happen.

Seeing him get hate for his fans actions is so sad! I'm not even that big a fan of him, but it just makes me so…
I am not Chinese, but I have been following the 227 incident from the beginning and although some of his fans are crazy, the whole incident was caused by professional anti-fans from the beginning. Professional haters took advantage of the fact that the AO3 site had technical problems and, after provoking XZ fans, spread the rumor that XZ fans caused the site to close in China. The truth is that the government never closed this site and AO3 warned about technical problems in December (they were doing something on the server). You could log in to the site all the time, only with a simple workaround. XZ fans did not report the site and did not close it, but haters took advantage of its technical problems and blamed XZ and its fans. They dragged teenagers frustrated by sitting at home and destroyed XZ's entire accomplishments overnight. There was terrible chaos, but after a few days the anger passed and free access to AO3 was regained. Teenagers backed out. Only professionals and freaks remained who attacked anyone who dared to speak in defense of XZ and the truth. They invented such stories that it is hard to believe that they are people at all.
XZ fans were innocent in this incident, but they understood that they were a little too arrogant, so everyone believed in their guilt and decided to face hatred with their love. Of course, they are a bit exaggerating with her, but you can't blame them. They really feel guilty for being the cause of their idol's suffering.
In China, almost everyone already knows that this is all the hackers who want to destroy XZ, because he is extremely popular and has no powerful "backs". Even his latest song, "Spotlight," which broke the world sales record, was accused of being plagiarism and theft, but when the author of the song made noise on Weibo and Tweeter, the haters again became the laughing stock.
XZ fans may be guilty of many unsightly behaviors, but incident 227 was a brilliantly prepared action of professionals who were just waiting for an excuse to attack the actor.

I think it's a rumor, but there may be some truth in it. "The Wolf" reportedly had problems with censorship, so they had to change some scenes (they cut 7 episodes), which could be associated with the tightening or changing of several other scenes.
Certainly there are not many changes, because XZ has changed a lot since 2017, he has slimmed down a lot. It would look strange if in one movie scene he was masculine and in another - ethereal :)
Nowhere have I heard anyone from "The Wolf" want to change something just because XZ is famous. Anyway, he wouldn't want it and wouldn't have time for it. Actually, since he became famous, he had such a busy schedule that there would be no place to stuff the next film days and anyway fans would know that because they followed him everywhere. Me too :)
Second lead in some productions is almost as important as the main character, especially if the characters form a team or are rivals. In addition, the drama has over 50 episodes. Therefore, it can be expected that XZ will have a lot of air time and an interesting romantic theme, but the chances that the creators changed the scenes especially because he became famous, I estimate at 0.001%.

I don't know much about Chinese music platforms and records, but when I saw those flying roses and "heart-shaped tulips" I couldn't take my eyes off it. I haven't seen anything like this in my life. What you are talking about is really impressive!
I forgot which platform, probably Tencent V, was promoting this song a few minutes after midnight. Tencent wants all his TV series. I rub my hands on "The Wolf" - and try to cool my hopes. All signs indicate that the premiere is coming soon, but the Chinese showbiz is so unpredictable! It has been more than once that without anything the series were canceled on the day of the premiere.

Oh ye! The song is really catchy and immediately falls to your head. The hit was just born :) I tried to count how many millions he made with this song, but I got lost. He made it available at midnight and reached platinum status in nine minutes. You have to be a fool not to play "The Wolf" now.
I heard that "The Wolf" had a problem with censorship, that's why its premiere was delayed. Since c-drams earn from the number of episodes, they didn't want to reduce their number. Since they decided to give up 7 episodes to satisfy censorship, it means that they really care about entering the market as soon as possible. In fact, everything is happening very quickly and unpredictably in China now. XZ fans are so vigilant that even without warning about the premiere episode they will learn about it within a few minutes and its audience will be gigantic.
It occurred to me that because several competing platforms announce "The Wolf", they can now set the order of emission among themselves. At this point, I see 97% chance of "The Wolf" broadcasting in spring 2020. 3% are sudden and unpredictable factors, which, unfortunately, are quite common in China :(
