Fingers crossed the rating goes up after the drama finishes. I think many people (me included) only rate dramas after we finish them. While dramas are airing, people drop those they don't vibe with and rate them bad. Just my guess on why the rating is so low. Definitely would deserve something over 8.0.

Thanks, I did go have a look! I have also watched Sh**ting Stars back when it came out and remember him in it. He does look a bit skinnier now, but to my eyes the change is not that drastic. I don't know how much styling and the stoicness of the character so far is affecting our perceptions. We'll see!

His namu wiki page mentions that he used to be "conciderably skinny until his early 30s, but has since gained a bit of weight". So he has always been known to be skinny. I think he'd look great with a few more kgs on him, but I haven't been too bothered by his looks.

Ok one week in. This will be a very light daily watch. I'm not sure if people will enjoy this if they binge watch multiple episodes at a time. As a daily 30min break this has been ok for me. I have to say that some of the criticism towards the actors is uncalled for. They have done an ok job concidering this is a light daily drama. I don't know if they don't like the visual of the actors or what. The actual acting is... fine. Not top tier but it has not been completely terrible.

It's on Kocowa! Not sure if it's country locked or it doesn't show because it did not have subtitles yet when I watched it. I speak Korean so was not a problem for me.

First ep was fine. 30mins is so short, feels like we barely got a proper beginning yet. Maybe after the first week we'll see where this is going

I like this a lot so far! But a warning; it is even more dark and twisted than the summary says. And that says a lot. I understand this is not everyone's cup of tea.

I'm on ep 4 and find this interesting so far. Not the same magic as S1, but still very entertaining. The rating will be lower than deserved due to people having insanely high expectations after season 1, so I wouldn't pay too much attention to it.

When Minah opens her eyes she's at the office with her dad and Baekjoong. She has happy tears in her eyes meeting them. Baekjoong reads this as a sign she is hungry as he is known for knowing Minah's mind from her smallest quirks. They decide to order dakgangjeong/chicken nuggets. The scene plays out differantly from the nugget eating scene in the first ep, where Minah brings the nuggets there - this time they are all already at the office and decide to order delivery. Also the last ep does not show the machine to be in the office, but I guess there could be tiny room for interpretation as the last ep does not show much of the office.

There are some differences. Yellow Pants is not really a thing in the webtoon, he does make songs but the focus in the webtoon is on the company. Minah just comes back after 50 years. Baekjoong shows her a video of her father's life, where he had done his all to travel to space for her. Baekjoong dies on the spot after the video, and Minah remembers she had a gift to him from the aliens. A heartfelt letter where Baekjung tells he's a fan of his blog and if they lived on the same planet they could have become good friends. As a token of friendship he added a gift - glasses that can take you back in time with the side effect that you lose your memory of those years. As Baekjoong is dead, Minah uses the glasses.

As someone who has read the webtoon I really enjoyed this. It definitely is very different from all other k-dramas, so I expect this to be a very hit-or-miss for people. Same that happened with Mask Girl. I think with webtoon adaptations it really helps to know what you are getting yourself into in advance.

He was listed as cast earlier, but had to cancel for whatever reason. Would have been lovely to see him in this as he's also mentioned in the original webtoon.

They are Korean style flavored chicken nuggets called 'dakgangjeong' (which is also the original Korean title of this).
