For anyone else watching for the first time, DO NOT watch the end credits! I'm only on episode 4 but the end credits have spoiled several key plot points for me. Why would they put spoiler scenes in the credits??

I think it's a combination of petty revenge over the car accident, plus FX believes that YSL's politeness is a fake mask like his own, and he's determined to "expose him". Still unclear why he has such a twisted mind to come up with these ideas 🤷🏼‍♀️ but those are the clearest reasons right now. I haven't read the novel
