The same old story- she is/he is sick and she is/ he is going to die..she is/ he is in relationship and she is/he…
My thoughts exactly. I don't actually find it boring, I just find that the plot is cliche and overused, to the point that everything is expected to happen. At one point, I thought this is exactly like "1 Liter of Tear" just a different illness. No sense of surprise or twist. Chemistry between characters was minimal.
Very much enjoyed this series. I like how it's not funny only in the beginning then becomes never-ending hardcore seriousness like most Korean dramas, but they still keep the comedic element towards the end despite it becoming dramatic. Jeon Ji Hyeon is incredibly pretty here!
Cried towards the end of the movie I knew it was going to be heartbreaking, but still ended up being not prepared enough. Lol! There were some stuff worth nitpicking, but overall, it was an good film.
Finally got the chance to watch this after having this in my laptop for 3 years. I must say, I liked the Korean version better... until the last scene where they finally meet. It just made more sense how the US remake (Lake House) ended it - she meets him a bit after she sent the final letter. That way, she still has memories of their enigmatic connection. The Korean version was okay, but there's a plot hole. In the last scene, if he approached her before she put in that first letter, everything would've been offset and altered. They wouldn't have encountered each other.
Well, that was my 2 cents worth. Still enjoyed nonetheless. I actually cried in this one, compared to Lake House.
I still like the manga compared to the movie or the anime. They really compacted everything into the movie, leaving out character development for the supporting characters. I also didn't really see chemistry between Yoshioka and Kou. Overall, its an average movie - got the gist of the whole series with good looking actors, but it could've been better. Manga > Anime > Movie
Interesting story and characters, and delicious looking food!! The first episode was really dragging, but once you're through with it, the plot runs smoothly. Wished the ending would end up differently, but nonetheless, great drama!
Dropped after episode 2. After reading some spoilers, I'm not willing to venture further into the story. Though its sad, I'm just not a fan of the contents/themes it depicts. Maybe one day I'll try it out again.
After over 2 years, I started to watch dramas again. I'm glad that I was able to stumble into this one. Greatly enjoyed the show and the morals that were depicted. Now, gotta find something similar to this.
From episode 3 onwards, i was enjoying it more and more. I thought I wouldn't enjoy this drama, but it proved me wrong and it really exceeded my expectations. The plot didn't repeat unlike other dramas, the OSTs were catchy and the values imbibed were impeccable. Good one!
The drama was fine. It had a lot of funny moments. Didn't like the ending that much though. I really wanted her to end up with the Kang Hyeok, not Chi Soo. The second male lead was already "husband material", unlike the other who just makes a good boyfriend.
Well, that was my 2 cents worth. Still enjoyed nonetheless. I actually cried in this one, compared to Lake House.
