I like the plants and the cooking. I liked the fl and i understood her initial worries. The fl is definitely way too nice to the ml. the couple had some cute moments but the beginning of their meeting was questionable and their final major scene together made no sense. It felt like the ml at then end had no sincerity lmao despite all my complaints i still enjoyed it! A fun watch
this felt very 2012 and very cheesy at times. i enjoyed the 2nd half more than the 1st half . i wasnt expecting the 2nd half to go the way it went. Overall an okay movie but i liked the message at the end.

I totally agree with you! the plot has so much potential. there were a lot of things that needed to be more developed and i kept thinking how amazing this would be if it was executed better. Its really interesting because despite all that, i still cried which really shows how powerful and heartbreaking the plot is. Guessing because this is adapted from a short story i can see why it got picked to be made as a movie. hopefully someone in production adapts this story again.
i like it! the quiet and long conversations taken in one take felt really soothing and was a great way to showcase the actors skills. this is now one of my favourite japanese movies! the leads look great too! such eyecandy
