I think this drama really shined on the episodes that featured the consequences of war and the victims stories. Like the korean veteran stories, comfort women and the experience and role of women during war and the psychological impact of the victims involved including children, men and women. As Jumadeung reflected the reality it was also intriguing to see the situation in Jumadeung in that time too.
