i feel like the rating for this drama is always gonna be lower than it deserves in mdl because its always going to be compared to the korean version. yes the korean version is much superior. but if you just watch it as a standalone, its not that bad. its quite decent in comparison to the other cdrama contemporary romcoms because of the creative elements from the original kr ver.
for me i rated this 8/10 . there were some nice details specifically about how the orange was represented which i loved. (if u consider what oranges mean to their culture) . the osts is both fun and emotional. I enjoyed the simple cinematography. some of the scenes had beautiful color palettes and were framed nicely. I already liked leon from his past works so this was easy for me to watch. both leads did well from what they were given. I found the story quite heartwarming and mostly enjoyed my time watching it despite its hiccups . although i screened past it, some parts of the story didnt go as smoothly or felt out of place. there were some parts which made me ???. . its still a fun watch though. just dont take it too seriously. 8/10
from the first glance I thought this looked like a chinese drama. like wuxia or xianxia drama. Its really beautiful so far! Its written by the hong sisters so im looking forward to see how the story unfolds
I watched this last year up to ep.19 but I got too busy placed it on hold. Finally remembered to watch it and binged the rest. Super sweet romcom! and surprisingly funny. I think the best part of this drama is really the actors. I really like the leads. They both look so natural in their roles. really great acting!! Both really knew what they were doing when they went to work!
Na in woo suits his role a lot. He looks like prince eric lol
Seohyun character is giving me princess giselle from enchanted type of vibe. Shes been locked up all her life and the outside world is a fairytale for her.
Agree... although I watched INAR not when it was airing in 2017 but in 2019, after hundreds of dramas I watched…
I watched INAR when it airing but I did go back and rewatched some of the scenes to compare and refresh my memory. Also new episodes sounds exciting!! Looking forward to it!!
As someone who really loved I am not a robot, for me the cdrama remake is still just as enjoyable and charming to watch. Ive watched 20 episodes of the cdrama remake and I have to say the original is a lot more emotional than the remake. But while still saying that, I still truly think ARITOO still has its own charm. Its a little bit more refreshing and lighthearted, but still has that essence of sadness and melancholy from how I felt with the leads. The ARITOO team did a decent job with the cinematography and sets. Some really beautiful and cute shots came out and the glass house, orange tree is so stunning. The osts for ARITOO is really good too. A mix of of fun and emotional songs. my fav is the intro! And yupp I agree with you!. By itself ARITOO is a good romcom and can stand by itself. But in comparison, to the original, I can understand that for some it can be a bit iffy for some. It really just depends on the person i guess.
such a visually stunning film. very atmospheric. The cinematography really addressed the story well, which I appreciate. Its a slow burn which may be boring at times but it left me with a good impression at the end. It helped that the film was so atmospheric because the slow burn really just sinks in with you, if you get what i mean.
visually stunning movie. makes me feel some sort of nostalgia even though I was born in the 2000s .The stories are really odd and bizarre, but overall enjoyed it
This drama is stunning. The chemistry is off the charts, i love the female centric plot.!! Although, this may just be me but does anyone else have a hard time understanding and following the political scheming /plot. Maybe im just not used to it cause i dont watch a lot of historical dramas and im not familiar the terms and customs. I feel like understanding it would give a better experience and plus Gu Qian story delves into that realm a lot so far. I need to rewatch some episodes
