All the 3 male leads really interesting in the novel, Tu Shan Jing someway potray as weak but also appeared as strong and inteligent, xiang liu devoted to the army but also always there beside Xiao Yao, for Zhuan xu, i have no comment, LoL. He has no way to turning back.
