that was a very long time ago when this came out, it was even televised on National tv in my country. I dont think this is in Netflix though. Not sure why, when The Bride of Habaek is even there. Dont know how that streaming platform is even picking up Asian dramas, when many nice & good quality dramas they just snob and bypass. tsk, smh. Just search & you will find. hehe.
This is very cute drama, and short. Dont know what the Director is thinking, but I guess he just hate very long drama. lol. But dont mind seeing the CP in regular length dramas.
I love this drama but the CGI isn’t the greatest because of the budget
My subscription is Netflix. My Youtube is already Premium, but they still ask for add fees. Saw couple of episodes on this, it looks quite decent for fantasy drama, I was after the HD quality viewing experience. But I’ll just see. Thanks.
Oh my this is coming out in just few months. New cast with Lee Jun Ki & Shin Se Kyung is a dream pairing. Hope good enough chemistry if this has Romance. So its still on Netflix, nice, cant wait!

Not a fan of Shifu-disciple romance, but would have rated it higher if CP chemistry is convincing enough. Instead the ML look sugar daddy to his brat disciple with evil breath & demoness blood. It looked like an obsession. I cant believe I agree more with those Sages & annoying characters that’s been an obstacle, kept on scolding and set them apart. coz Shifu looks bewitched, he’s just out of his mind. So Im bothered whenever they are together. I enjoyed more Chong Zi’s adventure outside than being locked up in Zizhu Peak Chonghua Palace where FL always suffer in prison, and ML does little to No help. Im more excited with Chong Zi spending more time with Prince Qin Ke, Uncle Chu Bufu, Senior Muyu, even the Demon King. While I ship Shifu with Lady doctor Zhou Yunji. That’s the struggle.

It kinda reminds of “Wulin Heroes”, where FL has many lovers & admirers (reverse-harem tag), while this one is high budget xianxia and the lovers here are less psycho except for the ML, lol.
In fairness, I think this story’s novel author has the habit of writing annoying characters & unconventional plot, dont know how faithful the screenplay here. But it will surely test your patience and tolerance to get through to the story. Thus, the actors got heavy burden on the pending doom this author usually drops. I believe its same novel author of lower budget drama “Love Better than Immortality”. Where storyline is also tiresome but the main CP there at least has believable chemistry that kept it somehow interesting.
Other than the Acting & Story, I think the overall Production is top notch quality, the actors/ actresses, costumes & settings are beautiful, it’s still worth the watch to feed one’s curiosity.
Are they gonna upload this on Netflix ? Waiting to see this, with “The Starry Love” and “The Blood of Youth” on bigger screen, with all its grand effects & spectacular CGIs.

Seo In Guk got some semblance to “V” Taehyung of BTS. The reason I watched this before. But this is a very entertaining drama you can binge watch with family members, friends, and just laugh out loud in every scenes. I miss this, miss some good laugh! lol.
