I tried to survive this pass 5th ep, the Bad translation is a struggle. Got to 5th ep still confused & clueless on what’s goin on. Maybe, will have to wait for better Eng subtitles. Got curious on this for FL, but I guess this is not her Best work yet. And why her poor BFF always suffer & get tortured.
The FL looks a bit older than ML. but FL fits the femme fatale archetype. while ML is suited for the young, unfavored, avenging Prince. This story should be interesting for a regular drama with capable actors, and toned down savagery.

She’s already Christian, so she’s limiting & picky in accepting dramas. But hope she still comes back, she’s my First love into Asian dramas esp Kdrama.
The only actor I Like by just seeing one drama of his, and that’s Empress Ki. Hope Wookie works again with Ha Ji Won, they just have amazing chemistry.
Remember first time seeing this, the effects are just amazing! Hope my favorite young Chinese actor Li Hongyi, gets in a movie like this. His looks is just ancient and he’s perfect in ancient costumes.

The Father & Son LZS duologue is just dramatic like watching a play in theater. Cant forget scholar Yeshian’s laugh at the Court to the puppet Emperor. Of course, all the hardships & trials faced by the main CP. So everything about the Empire begins & ends with Gu family. Its nice historical drama!
