those are Anti-fans of other Chinese actresses who are obviously felt threatened by her, coz she’s got the height, sexy and that authentic Chinese Asian beauty. if their problem is her acting, she can always learn to act by experience, but her natural beauty they cannot compete and cannot change however they try to say bad things about her.

So far among the dramas Ive watched with him on, he is either the young Emperor, the Crown Prince, a Mogul’s son the young Master. He looks pretty good in aristocratic characters, so I’d be surprised to see him in roles of commoner or action Hero. seems Li Hongyi’s prettiness and handsomeness is typecasted as Elite, that’s why he gets offered on those kinds of roles. But let’s see as he mature and his growth as a leading-man actor. We can only wish him all the Best. But so far, he’s an eye candy to watch on all his dramas, I dont dare to complain. lol

Yah he looks good on ancient costume dramas coz of his model-like thin figure & very tall stature, he’s like in fashion runway show on all those costumes that look great on him. also his idol-ish face that suits make-up styling like we’re transported into Kpop idol world. during his teens he kinda look like Winwin of NCT.

No, Cheng Yi has bigger eyes, oval face while Li Hongyi has smaller chin, pointed V-line jaw. They look alike in some still photos but not in live action video, maybe that’s due to make-up and hairstyling for ancient costume dramas. Ive seen some of their dramas, they just resemble but the difference is obvious, they dont even act the same. just treat Cheng Yi as older brother of Li Hongyi, both handsome in their own different way.
why so many TBA of Li Hongyi dramas! Became a fan & follower after watching The Legendary Life of Queen Lau, The Blood of Youth and Master Devil do not Kiss Me. He’s super charming, cute and handsome Chinese Asian actor, got the youthful, boyish, idol-ish aura. He always got good chemistry with his female leads. Cant get enough, am watching all his dramas!
I hope Netflix gets this Epic wuxia drama “The Blood of Youth”! Not all episodes available on Youtube even for paying members. Such a great lost not to see the Epic special effects & grand costume the production gave great efforts in this drama and not to be seen on bigger screen than smaller gadget screens. Watching it for super charming Prince Chuhe/ Xiao Se, Li Hongyi, very handsome & good acting, I cried when you were sick. and all other great casts too, very good storyline and great acting from all the casts and superb overall production! Cant believe seeing something this Epic drama from China, this is a Legend in the making, its like watching 40 episode Big budgetted movies.

I always thought Li Hongyi is the missed cast in Meteor Garden China, he should be in F4 with Dylan. His charm and appeal cant be overlook. Then I realized he just did “Master Devil do not Kiss Me” in 2017, when Meteor Garden came out in 2018. Li Hongyi just doesnt want to be greedy I guess.
I thought they change main leads to Landi Li & Li Hongyi coz Dylan and other actress backout due to scheduling conflict. If this is true indeed, hope Dylan and Li Hongyi will come out as bestfriends off screen, like rapport of Li Hongyi & Ao Ruipeng in “The Blood of Youth.” Those are gorgeous Chinese Asian actors Ive seen lately and want to watch & follow their dramas & earlier works. its also nice to see them friendly & all cool while still young, before fame & competition catches them later on in their careers. sometimes if they did the drama very early on, its possible they can be casted as support. but after watching some of Li Hongyi’s drama, “The Blood of Youth”, “The Legendary Life of Queen Lau” and “Master Devil do not Kiss me.” his appeal & charm on screen is indeed suited for Main lead roles, representing well the Asian culture and beauty.
Li Hongyi is already doing Main roles, I love his epic dramas like The Blood of Youth, comedy teen flicks The Legendary Life of Queen Lau, Master Devil do not Kiss me. he’s super charming Chinese actor. but to give way to his older brother Cheng Yi, he give support role. It feels rom-com is in dark ages w/o PSH. He's the Best romantic leading man that have graced the tv screen recently; w/ his great acting, versatility & on-screen sexiness; far outstanding than other veteran actors. It would be a big loss of great talent in Korean entertainment w/o him. He's just the Best there is. I hope he comes back, really soon! God bless PSH!
