what is the point of 3 . 7minute episodes truly these producers of minimal stories should stop treating their…
Agree that dividing a short into 3 separate 7 minute episodes is kinda silly. But, it does create anticipation, for some. However, whenever you see one of those "50 episode @ 1 min each" shows, those are because they are made on TikTok. Strongberry are actually creating very cool shorts and mini-series. So I hope they do not close down. As annoying as the 5-7 minute episodes are, at least the entire story as one 20 minute short is always well made and well thought out.
If I was Jun, having every comment from Sorn be about how and when he can f*ck me would drive me away from him very quickly. Love is much more than just the sex. Yes, good passionate sex is vital for any strong relationship. But, Sorn's entire world through this entire series was about when he could next f*ck Jun. I had kinda hoped that Sorn's character would grow a bit throughout this series. But, unfortunately, the only growth is him admitting that he likes Jun just so he doesn't lose the sex. Not my favourite writing, but I guess to match reality, this is kinda how most men think. Sad really.
Oddly enough, although I am gay myself, I sometimes find the NC scenes in some of these BLs to maybe be a little too much (?) But I will say this...this Korean BL series is one of the very first where the kisses looked so close to real. These two were trained well in their workshops and/or they were comfortable with who they are as men to accept the roles they were given and look past the fact that they were both kissing a guy, not a girl. It was such a nice change.
I also found that the story was actually quite good in this one. And the acting was great from all 4 of the male leads.
What I learned in this series: if you are straight you can confess early. And if you are gay, it is not easy and…
You're not wrong...however, you have to take into account a few things. 1) high school kids everywhere are very cautious about coming out to anyone because they don't wanna lose the friends they already have; nor do they want to be bullied or harassed. 2) Korea is definitely not an LGBTQIA+ accepting/loving country. Christianity there has taken over everyone's lives, so everyone hides their true feelings.
Yes, it took a very long time for Seungwon to grow some balls and finally say "not interested in her". But, keep in mind as well, every moment Heesu helped Seungwon was time they got to spend together. That is also why, by the last episode, he stated he was not going to go to tutoring anymore.
Being open about yourself, regardless of what it might be (LGBTQIA+, not having a mother/father, looking/acting different than others, etc etc etc) all add up on a person of any age.
What really needs to happen on this planet is people need to stop making everyone else's lives their business. So what if a friend, neighbour, family member, teacher, colleague, stranger, etc is LGBTQIA+? How does this directly affect anyone but the people in question? If someone doesn't like gays, that is their problem, not the person who is gay. I have no interest in what any str8 couple does in the bedroom together, or on the street for that matter (holding hands, hugging, kissing). We see is 24/7 in our lives just on TV! So basically, the planet just needs to mind its own business and let people be who they are, whatever their difference may be.
You know when you go into an audition and you make an acting choice and it can change the intention of a scene?…..This…
The thing with any time flip or parallel universe story is that there is always a loop. As I mentioned in my post above...time travel Ongsa makes it very clear that current day Ongsa can do nothing but let it happen. We will see what happens next!
You know when you go into an audition and you make an acting choice and it can change the intention of a scene?…..This…
Interesting logic. But then adult Soon shoulda full-on dated teenaged Ongsa so he wouldn't desire the movie theatre and all that which happened to reconnect them as youths. If Soon wants to stop them from meeting at kids, keep Ongsa distracted. If you are still following this series now, you will find out quickly that none of this matters anyway. I am LOVING adults Ongsa!
You know when you go into an audition and you make an acting choice and it can change the intention of a scene?…..This…
Thanks for your response. I understand where you are coming from. But keep in mind that Soon never actually makes a move on Ongsa in the past timeline. He is just kind and caring. It is Ongsa who hits on Soon full on. I believe this is also why there is never a sex scene between the two of them. Because that would not be believable as something these characters would do. They love each other...it is not just about passion and sex.
You know when you go into an audition and you make an acting choice and it can change the intention of a scene?…..This…
Clearly you cannot do basic math. There is only a 10 year difference between these two characters. They meet when they are 17 and are together for 10 years before the accident. That puts Soon at the age of 27. And, based on what we have seen so far, the two of them never did anything but hold hands and sometimes cuddle. Nothing sexual. Ongsa kissed Soon on the lips once in the cafe. and Soon kissed Ongsa on the cheek once. No need to be agist. One day you will be old and wish someone loved you.
There are actually 10 Episodes Premier Date of the remaining episodes areEpisode 7 October 8thEpisode 8 October…
There WERE supposed to be 10 episodes. But the series was gathering such crappy ratings for obvious reasons (horrible writing, pathetically bad dubbing, disgusting depiction of a challenged person that turned out to be fake). So the series was cut to 6 episodes. Honestly, the entire story could have been told in 1 or 2 episodes. Only reason I watched the entire thing was for the actors. I wish them better projects in the future. Cause this was not one of them...and not their fault.
What's your source? On Gagaoolala today's episode is marked as finale

Interesting take but that was not actually non-consensual sex. Ming was clearly more sober. But the doc was not…
Again…appreciate your opinion but Google the definitions to get the facts. R*pe is sexual intercourse by force without consent. Sexual assault is considered touching or grabbing someone without consent. Not sure if you’ve ever had sex but Ning was definitely face down taking it which is penetration. I have a great suggestion for you. Clearly this subject is a major trigger for you. So just stop watching it. Nobody here is cheering on Ming for his actions (that I’ve seen). The only persons who can verify exactly what happened would be a court. Neither of us are judges and sitting here acting like juries without all the facts is just childish.
Interesting take but that was not actually non-consensual sex. Ming was clearly more sober. But the doc was not…
I appreciate your expert opinion on this subject, Cia. However...I am a gay man and I am NOT suggesting what Ming did was right. Yes, he saw an opportunity to talk to Ning in the bar. That was his purpose to walk over to him. But his dash to grab him was to save him from being hurt when he practically passed out. And taking him home so he was safe was also a decent thing for Ming to do. Who knows what the long haired guy woulda done with Ning in a drunken state. Logic would state that ANYONE going with Ning and having sex (long haired or Ming) would be considered assault since Ning could not be sober enough to verbally consent to the act. But...it is very clear from the scene itself that Ning was a willing participant in the actual sexual act. Even though he had no clue who he was with. That is part of the problem of r*ape shaming as well. Yes, Ning was drunk. Yes, Ming should have stopped himself from acting on his urges to be with and convince Ning he was worth dating. But as other people have already stated (and speaking from decades of sexual experience as a gay man), there was NO WAY Ning was out of it during their intercourse for him to be responding positively to every kiss, every lick, every thrust. Ning's reaction in the morning was not because he felt he was r*ped. It was because he was surprised to see someone he was hoping to avoid. simply to protect his heart. If you want an actual r*pe, go watch LBC again and see how Kengkla manipulates Technic to get him to help Kla bang his drunk brother, Techno. And then in the morning to literally lie about it all and tell Techno he has to take care of him now. That whole storyline was gross. Techno never once shows any affection towards another guy (or girl for that matter) in the series.
pun character is just too much for me and pls the non consensual sex even in 2023 come on ..im tired of bl romanticizing…
Interesting take but that was not actually non-consensual sex. Ming was clearly more sober. But the doc was not unconscious at all. He was about to go to a hotel with some long haired stranger. But when stranger stepped away, Ming saw Ning starting to fall over and he ran over and caught him so he didn't get hurt. He took him to the hotel, I guess, and yes...they had sex. But non-consensual it was not. The doctor was not face down being r*ped. He was an active party the entire time. The morning after reaction is a typical reaction. People for hundreds of years have gotten drunk and gone home with someone they weren't expecting. I believe the only shock from the doctor was that it was someone he actually wanted to have feelings for, but something in his past relationships forces him to push people who like him away.
There are many other BLs that have non-consensual sex in them. LBC for certain. But not this one.
The more you read the comments in here, the more you realize it's all the women that don't understand Punn's character…
I love how you stated everything above. Yes, these shows (BL) often are written and produced to target single females so they can have their drool moments over hot guys who pretend to be into other guys. But it takes nothing at all for the knives to be thrown (like some of the comments below that are downright nasty). Sure, this series is far from great. I actually felt the exact same about Be My Favourite simply because I am not a fan of Krist's at all. I only stuck with it because I think Gawin is a great actor and very handsome looking.
What so many people forget is that these are characters, but they are still representing real people. I don't mean that Achi and Punn exist in real life. But somewhere on this planet, there are guys exactly like them going through exactly these things. One thing str8 people constantly forget is how difficult it can be for gays etc to meet a truly loving partner. It is so much harder for us to walk up to a guy we have a crush on and admit that. Sure, rejection happens in all forms of relationships. But gay rejections can often be nasty and hurtful and downright evil. Take any high school boy who admits to his crush and winds up being bullied for the rest of his school life.
As for the managers...petty. Both of them. But Title's manager is just a pathetic piece of crap. No redeeming qualities at all. If that was my manager, I would have fired them the first time they yelled and screamed like a pathetic child. She cheats, cons, and swindles everyone and then gets angry when the facts are pointed out to her and breaks apart the two managers who worked together for years. In my opinion, characters that should be erased from the script completely. Although Wann has more redeeming qualities. She clearly cares about her clients. She is not just a manager, she is a friend. But the entire jealous storyline coulda just been done by Title himself and get rid of at least the secondary manager that makes us all wanna skip ahead.
Finally...I really think whatever crap the writers were attempting to write for this so called Lakorn background storyline is just dreadful! Not even sure why that female actress is even in this series at all. She has no driving plot at all. And we are even seeing less and less of Title (which is also fine).
Personally, I am thrilled to see Ja and First. And happy that their roles are kinda reversed this time. But based on what has been happening thus far, I think the series shoulda been cut to 8 episodes with it ending just after the typical ep7 argument so that they get back together in ep8 and end the show. Will Punn go to Japan with Achi? Or stay and cry? Who knows.
JunSung in his orange hoodie hugging SungHo in relief made me super emotional 🥹 I can bet my car that SungHo…
I completely agree with everything you said. It's pretty common for show runners or producers to force certain situations for good ratings. But, when you are dealing with real people's lives, this is not funny at all. I am just thrilled JS and SH stuck it out together even without the last phone message for JS.
After what HJin did to Dabit (JW) after their unplanned date, I hated HJin. I never wanted him to be happy. He was cruel and selfish. Jeong-Wook never deserved that assault. So, I am thrilled HJin and MS aren't together. And HJoon dodged a bullet by writing that letter the night before and voting NO...he can find someone much better now!
This was a very good season. Much better than s1, agreed.
Very happy for SH and JS. I honestly had thought in that last episode that SH had swapped back again. But I am glad he didn't. And it looks like they are still together.
I am kinda disappointed with HJoon for giving up. But he certainly made it easy for MS to make his decision. Personally, I don't think HJin deserved him simply because of how he treated CO. He was cold and calculating and very selfish with his words.
However, putting all that aside, there weren't any "post house" photos of them still together. Only pics of SH and JS together and bonding more and more. Who knows...maybe MS saw his real side after getting out of the house and watching the series! haha
Look forward to S3.
And apologies to anyone who misunderstands my CO. All the subtitles on the version I have been watching call him Chung-ook which is why I have always referred to JW (Jeong-Wook). But in any case, we are all referring to Dabit! Such a rock star...he was definitely one of my favs.
I wanted to hurt his soul with a few choice of words, he’s so full of himself. Did he think he’s a great catch?…
I was repulsed by both SW and HJin in ep10.
Everyone was calling SW for so many days, until they started to see the real him. Selfish and self involved. I am SOOOO glad that SH and JS got another date. And they both seem very happy together. Lots of hand holding in the house now. So much better. And a much more healthy relationship for SH. He deserves actual love.
HJin...you are complete and utter trash to me. The way you still to this second treat CO is just disgusting. And you have the nerve to say as an aside that you're worried he would misunderstand. FUCK YEAH he would! You are doing everything you can to avoid being in the same room or car or doing anything beside him. You're disgusting. He is a human being with feelings. And not only did you walk all over his and his heart, but now you act like he doesn't even exist.
And yes...YH is a fool. Infatuation with someone's look is a horrible way to start and carry on a relationship. SW barely acknowledged or communicated with him for 99% of the show, but he still follows like a puppy dog. Dude...it's fine if you have feelings for someone. But SW has been pretty clear from the start that he is not into you...move on.
On to ep11...I may have to add edits to this! haha ======================================= Okay...as expected...ep11 did not disappoint. I am SOOOOOO happy for SH and JS. It is clear this season will have at least one true love couple.
YH...odd that he joined SW's group then bailed after telling him he was a pillar in his heart. But I think YH knows he will never get anything from SW in return.
So much karma coming back to bite HJin. I am rooting for HJoon and MS. The crap that HJin pulled on CO while on the group date is just disgusting.
It is strange how this show proves how obsessed humans can be with looks and age over personality and kindness. I would take CO or JS over most of these guys cause they are just real with their feelings. They are kind and caring, expecting nothing in return. And we know now that is exactly why SH fell for JS. CO will definitely find a much better love outside of this house than bothering with YH who is obsessed with someone who has no interest at all in him.
I wanted to hurt his soul with a few choice of words, he’s so full of himself. Did he think he’s a great catch?…
Yeah agreed. It was pretty disgusting how he went about it. Every word out of his mouth was just wrong. Like I said before, all he had to say was that he enjoyed his afternoon with him and thank him for keeping him company. He definitely lost ALL credibility with me. I hate men who think they are a catch and everyone should be begging for their love and attention. I kinda feel that way about SW as well at times. Sure, guys found you "attractive" at first. Then they started to get to know you. I really hope HY moves on from SW too. He deserves actual love, not some artificial full-of-himself type of guy. We all know the gelato date was definitely never meant for HY...he wanted that to be for SH.
woah where did that gif come from? pls tell me jungwook didn't make a song about that fr
I made the GIF at @Tyvsha's request. It is a real song of his from 2020 called "Don't Wanna Be". The chorus lyrics are "I don't wanna be your man". Clearly a song he must have written about one of his ex's. He is such a sweet guy. And I loved the music video so much. It is on YouTube...check it out in Tyvsha's post above.
Someone with the skill set needs to go into the mv of Don't Wanna Be and gif the last few seconds where Dabit…
I seriously cannot believe that idiot did and said what he said! Does he not have a fully formed brain?? All he had to say was "I enjoyed our time together this afternoon...thank you for keeping me company." As requested...GIF created!! https://media.giphy.com/media/8qtR6PumBz21ygsfHq/giphy.gif
