The heaven arc was a span of few hundred years that they were together. It felt short because it was only a few episodes, but they were actually together much longer than in the mortal realm. And if you watch carefully, you'll see that they actually fell for each other way before living together in the cabin, they just didn't realized their feelings until that point.

Agree. Ying Yuan and Yan Dan is one of my all time favorite couples. I'm rewatching all of their scenes because I can't move on from them. They have a mature love that I really appreciate.

I still need to finish Noble Aspiration. For some reason, the storyline in that drama doesn't interest me and CY and YZ didn't have too many scenes, so I've been putting it off...

Just finished watching the special episodes with sub on youku and I just want to say that I love the ending so much. Ying Yuan and Yan Dan got their happily ever after with little Goudan. I love how they are living near Yelan mountain, their friends are nearby, Yan Dan became a famous play writer and even has her own troupe. I'm glad they were reborn as spirits/immortal so they can live a long life together.

Immortal Samsara is my favorite drama of 2022 and one of the best dramas of all time for me. Cheng Yi and Yang Zi's acting were truly phenomenal. I can't wait to watch their upcoming dramas. I really hope they can reunite for another drama because they are so good together. Now I'm off to rewatch IS from the beginning as I just can't move on from this amazing drama.

There are leaked scenes that haven't air yet and youku have 2 episodes hidden. Youku also said there's a surprise coming on Sept 7 so most likely the 2 extra episodes are true. Finger crossing.

Agree. Yang Zi and Cheng Yi have the best acting and chemistry. I have never seen a leading couple so equally matched in terms of acting skills and talents, their performances were amazing. I really hope they can do another drama together as well.

I just finished IS and although not the happy ending I wanted, it was still a very good ending. I was crying buckets the last 2 episodes. The ending fits the theme of the drama, which is love, responsibility, and sacrifice. Cheng Yi and Yang Zi's acting are excellent, the best lead couple ever with amazing chemistry. I love the trio and their friendships. Immortal Samsara is my top 3 dramas is all time. I'm hopeful that the special episodes next week will give us the happy ending that we all want for Ying Yuan and Yan Dan.

Yandan is not arrogant, she's young and carefree. Throughout the course of the drama you will see great character development from her. She will become mature as she goes through all the ordeals. Yandan is one of the best FL characters I've seen. She's smart, witty, selfless and independent. Immortal Samsara is an amazing drama, so many plot twists and characters growth. Highly recommend.

I saw a video of Cheng Yi arriving at Beijing airport last night for tonight's livestream. He had so many fans surrounding him. Happy that he's able to get to this point after so many years of going unnoticed. But also feel bad for him because he has no privacy, he seems really tired. I hope we can see Yang Zi joining the livestream as well. And maybe after their busy filling schedules we can see them in the same room somewhere, like on a show or something.

Thanks for sharing the info. That just shows how amazing and versatile of an actor Cheng Yi is, that he's able to pull off Xuan Ye character in a short time span. I would love for Cheng Yi and even Yang Zi to play an antagonist role in the future, that would be so awesome to see.

I'm sorry Ying Yuan and Tang Zhou, but I'm falling for your daddy Xuan Ye really hard 😂　How can someone be so sly and sexy at the same time? 🤣
And gosh I love his voice so much, wish Cheng Yi could have kept his own voice for all characters.
