YES!! Can't wait for MLC to air this Sunday. The trailer looks really good and very mysterious.

Happy 1 year anniversary to one of the best dramas ever made. Immortal Samsara is still one of my favorite dramas ever.

I hope so too. Many bloggers are running with this date so hopefully it will be true this time.

I love Yang Zi's acting so really looking forward to this drama. Saw the trailer and it looks so heart breaking. This is going to be an exciting summer.

It's still a rumor. MLC is rumored to air this/next week or by the end of July on IQIYI first, followed by CCTV8 in early August. Another rumor is that it will be broadcast at the same time in early August on both IQIYI & CCTV8. Nothing is confirmed yet, so we'll have to wait and see when IQIYI will drop this drama.

I'm so excited for this. Promotion is starting, hopefully MLC will come sooner than later.

I love xianxia dramas for the fantasy aspects that it brings. Immortal Samsara starts out a bit slow but the story picks up and gets addictive after that. What makes IS stands out from other dramas is the stellar acting from Cheng Yi and Yang Zi and the amazing chemistry that they have. If you like to watch good acting, I would recommend this drama. There is a mortal arc where our leads go cases solving which may be more your cup of tea.

But if you are not into xianxia at all, I suggest you wait for Cheng Yi's new suspense/mystery wuxia drama Mysterious Lotus Casebook to be released this month.

If MLC can get on CCTV8 then I'm willing to wait as it's difficult for a costume drama to get on there. But agree with you, just want MLC to air this summer. Fingers crossed for a trailer.

I heard that the male leads went in and did the voice over in post production a while back. But whether the drama will use their voices or go with voice actors, we will have to wait until MLC airs to find out.

Melons: 1. Mysterious Lotus Casebook's cast members will film Hello Saturday on July 27 to promote the drama. 2. MLC will air on CCTV8. So many melons are flying these days so take it with a grain of salt.

There is still nothing updated on IQIYI app, I think MLC will air on July 18th. But can we get a trailer please 🙏

CCTV Weibo have been asking users what drama do they want to see on CCTV and the list includes Mysterious Lotus Casebook. Is MLC really going to be aired on CCTV as well?? I really hope so 🥹

IQIYI might air both around the same time or at least this summer. But Mysterious Lotus Casebook is most likely to be released on July 18

There should be minimal romance. MLC is more of a suspense, detective drama

Not sure how the cast list on MDL is updated but the trailer only showed the 3 male leads. CDL's role in MLC may have more screen time than other supporting roles but it's not a FL role.

There is no female lead in MLC. This drama only has 3 male leads, but the story is mainly around Cheng Yi's character Li Lian Hua / Li Xiang Yi. Chen Du Ling is more of a guest role in this drama.
