Yeah, some people says that Shang Gudao is the mastermind behind all of this, but LLH already found and buried his dead body. I don't know how the plot would explain this if he's not really dead. I'm also inclined to think it's not him, but a lot of clues are pointing to him 🤔

I really loved last night's episodes, started off so funny with DFS and Qing'er almost sabotaging LLH & FDB 🤣 And the Girl's Mansion case was truly shocking regarding who the culprit was but also very emotional and understandable for why they did it. Loved how A Fei shows up each time he's called and really saved the day. LLH's smirks and micro expressions were hilarious and looks like FDB can't get out of his marriage with the princess afterall 😂 I find them quite cute together. Overall, excellent script, storyline and acting, there was never a dull moment.
I must say the set and backdrop of Girl's Mansion is really pretty, very high quality. I appreciate how MLC build very realistic sets for all of their locations/scenes and not just rely on CGI. This is a very high quality drama, kudos to the staffs and team. Another interesting case in the latest episodes. I have no idea who the killer is 🤔

Loved ep 20, this was the best episode yet the storyline keeps getting better and better. So many details and aspects from previous cases are actually connected to the big plot. I'm very curious to find out who the person behind all of this is. And the amount of lies that comes out of LLH's mouth is just on another next level 😂. It's so funny that LLH was able to deceive DFS to become his master, this part cracks me up so much. Even though MLC is not BL, but I'm really shipping LLH and DFS with their son FDB 🤣
Our trio will sweep iQIYI and Sina buildings in Beijing on Wednesday, August 2nd (instead of 8/1). From the livestream, the 3 of them seems to get along really well. I really love their interactions, can't wait for tomorrow!

No, I don't think they will be together. What they share is a memory of love when they were young, but they have both grown up and that love is no longer there. QWM is hanging on to LLH because of guilt and LLH knows that he couldn't give her the happiness that she deserves, so it's best that they move on. That scene was the perfect although sad closure to their love story.
DFS's fight scene with the pear blossom was so cool. Honestly, all of the fight scenes in MLC are excellent with such beautiful cinematography. LLH and QWM's closure scene was heartbreaking, it made me cry so much. CY's crying scenes always jerk my heart, he convey his emotions and sadness so well. The data heat and views started off strong, but have been stagnant with slight increase over the past week. It only broke 9500 iQIYI heat on 7/29. So it's not (yet) considered a breakout drama this summer. I say that it's underrated because although the plot, acting, production and word of mouth are all very good, MLC is not getting enough interests/viewers to watch this drama (in comparison to other hit dramas this summer), most likely because wuxia detective drama have a much smaller audience than costume romance dramas. I only hope that MLC can gain more audience soon.
Spending my weekend to rewatch Mysterious Lotus Casebook to catch all the details I missed the first time. This drama is so tightly pact that it's impossible to pick up everything with one watch. I think MLC is so underrated, I hope it will be more popular in the coming days.
The Yuanbao Villa case was so good with so many plot twist, I guessed the real culprit wrong twice. Li Xiang Yi appeared tonight, his swordplay fight scene is so mesmerizing, we need to see more. And LLH is becoming a girl's magnet, so many girls have fallen for him 🤣
Lol I can't count the numbers of time FDB got deceived and left behind by LLH 🤣 and how does LLH comes up with so many lies so easily 😂. But so many revelations in ep 13, it seems that LLH sees FDB as his disciple already although FDB hasn't done the kowtow.
