Agree, so proud of MLC. It's super difficult for a costume drama to get on CCTV and now MLC is on two CCTV channels. This drama is really a masterpiece, happy that CCTV loves it as much as we do.

Mysterious Lotus Casebook will start broadcasting on CCTV1 during the daytime from August 16. This is in addition to its current night time broadcast on CCTV8. Congrats to the MLC team. So happy that this drama is getting really positive reception and reaching a wider audience.

Now everyone is still waiting for Cheng Yi's. Given how 2G Cheng Yi is, I think he's still learning the dance as we speak 🤣🤣

Ep 33 &34 were so so good, we're really at the climax here. The fight scenes were outstanding, I really love LLH's drunken sword dance in the bamboo forest. And my poor DFS, how could you do that to him JLQ? I bawled my eyes out at the scene between LLH and his senior, so much raw emotions.
While waiting for new episodes to air next week, I'm going back and rewatching the older episodes. Gosh there were so many details that I missed when watching it the first time around. Honestly, watching it one time is not enough to appreciate how good MLC is.

Agree. I'm not happy at iQIYI for how poorly they're treating MLC. There was minimal promotion, MLC got suppressed on weibo hotsearch, the trio didn't shoot Hello Saturday until after the drama airs and their episode won't air until end of August (way after MLC finish airing). Now MLC's heat ranking and views will be negatively impacted by the fast track. But despite all that, MLC got really good word of mouth and is doing well even without marketing. Its rating is doing well on CCTV8 as well. I just really hope that it can break 10k tonight and that its rating can continue to improve on CCTV because the staffs and crew of MLC really deserves it.

DFS is such a bad ass in ep 30-31. Loved every moments that he's on screen. And can someone give Cheng Yi an outstanding actor award already? When he said "I've been looking for you for 10 years", it's just 1 line but you can see the anger, sadness, and so much emotions that had been built up inside LLH. CY never cease to amaze me with his acting. FDB had so much growth in the last few episodes, really proud of this baby. Not only the outstanding plot, but the characters development and acting in MLC are superb. This is one of the few dramas where it gets better and better with each coming episode.

If iQIYI had given MLC enough airing time and better schedule I wouldn't mind buying the fast track, but MLC had only been airing for half a month. This fast track will hurt MLC's heat index, rankings and views so that's why I don't want to support them.

Exactly what Babyface369 said. Once fast track is released, the views and discussions will drop after that date because many would have seen it already. So this cut down the amount of days MLC has to break 10k heat. And shorter airing period means less time to gain views and popularity. Breaking 10k heat index on iQIYI is really important because it signify that it's a hit drama. Last night MLC reach 9933, so there's really only 1 more day to break 10k due to the fast track. Praying that MLC can do it today 🙏🙏🙏

100 percent agree with you. MLC's views and heat index/ranking will be negatively impacted by the fast track. It's bad enough that MLC had been suppressed on weibo hotsearch since it's release and iQIYI's lack of promotion for this drama. It gains popularity and viewers purely by word of mouth. For iQIYI to treat MLC like this really makes me upset.

There's only 1 more day to break 10k, I really hope MLC can do it. There's was 1.6 millions viewers watching last night for the 2 episodes, I don't understand why it still can't break 10k. Hoping for the best tonight, MLC's crews and fans have really worked hard on this deserving drama.

I'm not happy at iQIYI for doing this. It's obvious that that are trying to push MLC out of the way to not clash with their upcoming drama. MLC is so close to achieving 10k heat, but it needs a few more days to achieve this. I for one will not be buying the fast track and will stick with the normal VIP schedule as I don't want to support iQIYI's greedy behavior.

Last night episodes were so heartbreaking, but I'm glad FDB knows the truth and reconciled with LLH. Cheng Yi's acting is really A class, whether it's his beautiful fight scenes or suffering from the poison, he acts so well down to the little details in every scene. And although she's a villain, but I'm really drawn to the Saintess. She's cunning but she's really loyal to DFS. Can't wait for tonight episodes, this drama is so so good.

Agree, this is a big accomplishment for MLC to go on CCTV8. I hope MLC can reach more viewers and get the recognition that this wonderful drama deserves.

The fight scenes in the latest episodes were so so good. I hope we can see more fight scenes in future episodes. LLH/LXY's sword fights are just beautiful beyond words. Funniest moment was when the village elder asked the trio what they were doing and they all answered at the same time but with totally different answers 🤣
It's going to be sad in tonight's episodes when FDB finds out LLH's real identity. I don't want any misunderstanding to come in between these two.
