MDL is becoming like douban. Antis and fans of other dramas who haven't even watch MLC are down voting this drama to steer people away from watching it. It's really ridiculous, but I noticed the same thing happened with Immortal Samsara last year. Most people who actually watch MLC only have positive reviews, so we shouldn't care about the rating, it's unreliable anyways.

It's official, Mysterious Lotus Casebook will air on CCTV8 from August 6. This is a great achievement for MLC as it's difficult for a costume drama to get on CCTV. This will attract more viewers in older age group as they tend to watch TV as opposed to online. Congrats to the MLC team.

What episode are you on? I find the drama to be very fast pace, no dragging moments or fillers. Each case is resolved in 2 episodes and it connect with the bigger overall plot. I find that I have to focus and rewind often to catch all the details. The storyline became very interesting for me from the 2nd case.

Yes, it's a very good drama. Extremely funny, good chemistry and dynamics between the male leads, the mystery cases and plot are intriguing and fast pace. Also very nice fight scenes. Check it out.

Yeah, I saw that too, poor baby. I think it will take a long time for CY's back to heal if ever. I just hope that he's not in too much pain and that his next drama won't require him to do fight/action scenes. He needs a long break from stunts in order to get better.

Our trio will be recording Hello Saturday variety show tomorrow (7/27). I bet the 3 of them together will be so hilarious, I can't wait for this to air.

Today's episodes were great, LLH is such a pretty bride. Really love the pacing of MLC, there is no dragging moments or fillers. I think FDB will find out DFS's real identity soon, can't wait to see his reaction when he finds out. MLC's datawin took a slight dip yesterday but went back up to breaking 2 today. This is such a good drama, I hope it can attract more viewers.

Li Xiang Yi’s sword dance scene was so freakin beautiful, I really wished it was longer. This scene and the intro fight scene on the ship are two of the best scenes I've seen in a wuxia drama. I hope we see more of this in the drama. And Cheng Yi's crying scene when he read the break up letter was devasting, no one does cry/heartbreak scenes like CY. The trio's chemistry is so good, I love it wherever they're together. Can't wait for tonight's episodes.

Congrats to Mysterious Lotus Casebook for hitting 9000 heat on IQIYI and breaking 2 on Datawin after just 2 days. This is a great start.

I really love today's episodes, the trio's dynamic is so hilarious, I was laughing so much that my stomach hurts. MLC is really addicting, the cases are interesting in itself but I really like how it intertwines with the bigger plot. Overall great acting, chemistry, plot and fight scenes. I'm really satisfied with this drama.

The 2nd case is so riveting, down to all the small details. I would have never guess who her killer was nor how she died. The outcome was quite shocking and sad. I'm on ep 5 and the storyline is getting really interesting. Li Lian Hua is so witty, he cracks me up so much.

I'm up to episode 3 and so sad that Happy died. But I'm enjoying this drama a lot, it's extremely funny (which I wasn't expecting) and great chemistry between the 2 MLs. The cases are very interesting and very fast pace.

Li Xiang Yi got poisoned from jade tea and was saved by the monk. But the monk could only expel some of the poison and not able to detoxify him. The monk was only able to salvage 10% of his martial arts skills and LXY only has 10 years to live as the poison had spread all over his body. This was explained in ep 3. Well have to wait and see how he gets his power back.

Yeah I noticed the different voices too. Li Lian Hua is Cheng Yi's real voice, but I couldn't tell if Li Xiang Yi's voice in the first scene is CY using a different voice or a voice actor. I guess since Li Lian Hua became a totally unrecognisable person after 10 years, they used a different voice to distinguish from Li Xiang Yi's.

Just finished episode 1 and I just want to say that the opening fight scene is AMAZING, it's so beautifully filmed. This drama is very fast pace and so funny I couldn't stop laughing, all the characters are great so far. Now onto episode 2.

It seems that all 3 MLs are using their original voices, which is great. I was worried that the drama might choose to use voice actors instead, but luckily that's not the case. I really love CY's voice, he conveys so much emotions. I still don't understand why they didn't use his voice for all 3 characters in IS.

So there's nothing we can do? I don't understand why they want to use the full poster when it's going to be side way like that. This is Immortal Samsara nightmare all over again...

1 more day until Mysterious Lotus Casebook airs. Looking forward to meet famous miracle doctor Li Lian Hua, but whom doesn't actually knows medicines lol 😂. And the fight scenes are breathtaking. Can't wait!!

Love my Immortal Samsara couple. Can't wait for both dramas to air.
