Yeah, I find it weird when the other characters talk about a generation gap between ML and FL as ML looks young. She's 22 and if ML is in his thirties, he must just be 30.

Wow, seems like Dylan is the King of Drama Adaptations?!?! This one, My Mr. Mermaid, Pretty Man, Another Me, and Love is Always Online are all adapted from novels.

I'm excited to see Dylan as Jiang Tian. I was only able to read up to Ch 8 of the novel since the translator disappeared. I'm hoping with this upcoming drama, there will be hype and someone will finish translating the novel into English.

The original Taiwanese version was my first ever foray into Asian melodramas and thus I happily looked forward to this version. The problem with remakes sometimes is that, once you already know what's going to happen, it gets boring. I re-activated my Netflix account to watch this version and never ended up finishing it. The only actor I found attractive is Caesar Wu and felt like his partner in the drama wasn't attractive enough. Xi Men's story is my favorite.

I'm not a fan of this trope: dumb FL and genius ML where FL chase ML relentlessly and with no shame especially with ML being mean to FL, calling her dumb and whatnot. But given that this was a 2-hour movie and I'm a fan of Darren Wang, I decided to watch this. It was a good, light watch to kill some time.

I've only seen a few episodes so far and although I don't normally enjoy dramas with a magical element (in this case, FL's ability to see people's memory by looking into their eyes), I've found my interest piqued. Cecilia Boey is gorgeous! They can put her in anything and she looks charming. Her outfits in this drama are colorful and outrageous but when they put her in normal clothes, she looks so elegant. I hated the FL's clothing in GGS so happy to see that although some of FL's outfits here are exaggerated, she's still cute. The bickering and chemistry between FL and ML is fun. Hoping they keep the momentum going.

I'm not sure what episode you're on but I believe what you're talking about happens in Episode 6 after Nana's wedding.

If you're looking for something more like GGS, then Gank Your Heart would be the way to go. But Le Coup de Foudre is really good too so I would say watch that after Gank Your Heart.

It was such a let down how they edited it. :(
