Title Live Surgery Room Spoiler
Sorry your comment was long ago but how different is the novel to the drama adaptation if you've watched it ?…
Hey, so just saw your reply. So I stopped watching the drama. It's different from the Novel. I don't know how others feel about it, but I personally didn't like how they changed a lot of things from the novel. I mean, I understand that somethings sometimes need to be changed for make it work in a Drama, but if so they should have written a original script and not adapt from a novel IMO.
Few things I personally disliked was how MC personality was portraited. In the novel his personality was not cold and detached, he just had trouble with EQ, but in the drama I felt like they made him cold to an extent. And FL, they made her so annoying, like in the novel I loved her, she was not a typical FL you see, she was good at what she does and very competent, able to keep up with ML in the Op theatre. (this is especially so cus the nurse was inspired by the author, who was a doctor I believe, by his own wife. So to change that felt a little disrespectful.) And the casting. ML casting was no problem but Dai Xu does not match the appearance described in the novel. Like, in the novel, Su Yun was sooo pretty with long hair. Dai Xu is handsome, don't get me wrong, but for Su Yun's character he is not the one. And I didn't like how they made the Chief Physician Pan the villain. Like in the novel he was the pillar that supported ML through everything, and gave him the chance he needed to show his talent.
I think most of these changes was made because the novel was a system novel. ML gains the system and becomes a unparalleled surgeon. That plot point played a role in the changes I think, but as I said, if so they should have written a original script. If it was, then I might have watched the whole thing. But since it was a adaptation, I went in with the expectations of seeing the novel come to life, not for it to be changed so much. I guess the disappointment and unwillingness to watch it stems from that.
Sorry for the info dump and rambling on, I've wanted to vent all of this to someone for sometime now.

disagree! each to our own preferences, but because it's not understandable doesn't mean it's forced on everyone,…
No flashbacks doesn't mean it was forced. We don't get flashbacks in real life, just the narration of the person involved. If someone isn't able to sympathize with someone cus they don't have flashbacks and just someone retelling things...idk, just think about that I guess

Never thought I would find a drama adapted by The Surgeon's Studio. Loved the novel. Not sure how the drama will be but I'm now going to go watch this

So the comments have convinced me to watch this, despite the ending...
just one question, is the extra episode ep 34 or is it like 35 if we are to give a number?
