I'm impressed at the talents of Hashimoto Kanna to be able to do her "delinquent in your face" expression without bursting out laughing every time!

I suppose she has had plenty of practice over the years, but still....

I didn't like it either.
The main plot was too silly, and the subplot was too "Your Lie in April" (I still haven't got over the ending of that...)

Episode 3 Is "That Matter" Nakata needs Neurosurgery, and for some reason Tagami is the only person who can do it, even though she is inexperienced?

I don't normally watch Medical Dramas, but for Hashimoto Kanna I made an exception!
I'm enjoying it so far, she is doing the same "Delinquent Face" as usual (she just looks like an angry Kaguya to me though...) and there are still digs at her height.
(At least they are more subtle, unlike in Tokumei!)

I enjoyed it, but I like detective drama in general.

Can someone please explain the ending to me, either in a spoiler or by message, as I don't get it.
(Not the post credits scene, the 4 minutes leading up to the credits)

I can't think of anything quite the same, but try ST Aka to Shiro no Sousa File (2014) for more Fujiwara Tatsuya playing an odd character.

Lets really hammer home Gojo's insecurities, in case the drama watchers haven't twigged yet.....
And give both Marin & Gojo a strong reason to be afraid to confess...

Are you thinking of that Prisoner Veronica Outfit made out of a couple of squares of cloth that he made for Marin but she had to wear it alone in the privacy of her own room?

I enjoyed it, it shows Gojo's development (through Marin's influence). The cosplay wasn't up to much, but at least they kept it short. In the manga, Gojo hangs around for the cosplay and there is a fair bit of dialogue that would be inappropriate for the double standards of the drama (Marin wants to cosplay as highly sexualised characters, but we have to keep the action PG-13)

As for boring, just hope they don't make us go through the "Mystery of the Chain Smoking Woman"- that was really lengthy and a total let-down.

I've seen all three released episodes now, and I quite like it.
Once you accept that there isn't going to be any fan service, it is a fairly light story, and 20 minutes is about long enough for an episode.

Nagase Riko is growing on me too- 10 years ago Nishiuchi Mariya would have been a perfect Marin.

I've seen the first two episodes, it is fairly watchable.
I didn't find it particularly funny, but it passed the time.

raredoramas have a DVD with English subtitles

a bit of heterosexual romance, think middle school crushes. If I understand the term bromance correctly, then no, just friendship and family.

I loved it!
It could definitely have used a couple more episodes though, it ended just when the Department was coming together.

I just found out today, and came here to post a note. I was googling to see if it was Matsu in the NHK program "Let's Enjoy MATH with Barky the Dog" (Math- grrr! they mean Maths)- It isn't as he wasn't born when they made it in 2014.
He was only 7.....

I think I just got used to the ML over the series, I don't think he grew into the role very much, he never really seemed comfortable with it to me.

Naru was just brilliant! Clearly the best actor in the show.

I thought they missed out a lot that could have been entertaining, and I thought the game of "spot Hina's mom" in every episode was distracting, By the end I was more focussed on where & why she would pop up than what was actually going on.
