Despite its many flaws, I still really enjoy this drama because its chemistry and sweetness. Well, I don't set any high expectation so I could ignore all those illogical things.

I dislike the SML too because I think he should know his boundaries after knowing the FL is in real relationship with ML. But it's understandable why people hate the SFL more because she has done many nasty things to harm FL meanwhile SML doesn't do any harmful thing toward ML.
I don't know if people feel the same way but surprisingly Madam Zhou became the character I am most invested in after the main leads. I hated the way she treated Shiyi but slowly I could understand where she came from. She's been through a lot of shits throughout her life from being forced to marry a man she didn't love, meanwhile the man she loved were married to someone else, then she had to raised Zhousheng Chen (a son from the husband she didn't love) and Zhousheng Ren (a son of the man she loved), then she had to take care the Zhou family. She definitely devoted herself and carried the Zhou family on her shoulder for more than 20 years.
Despite her cold appearance, she remained fair until the end. She didn't treat ZSC with motherly love but she kept her promises and she really protected ZSC's wealths while knowing her son wanted to take what ZSC had. Zhou Wenchuan got what he deserved, but I feel bad for Madam Zhou having to lose both of her children like that. I pity her for what she's been through.

Lol many people are complaining about kiss scene. The moment I knew Allen was the main lead, I didn't expect for any kiss scene. The drama would be hotter with kiss scenes, but I think Allen still successfully delivers the emotion. Allen & Bai Lu also have amazing chemistry despite no kiss. I still find this drama so sweet and romantic with just them holding hands, hugging, kissing cheeck, and sleeping together on the same bed. I feel satisfied.
