I have worked in 3 different countries and i know how thorough the background check happens after someone clears…
When the ML's sister prepare the TF team for ML, her goal was to hire the worst candidates. I think that's why they didn't take the hiring process seriously. Probably that's why they didn't do a proper background check.
This is wonderful - very fast pace and a very well directed series. Trust me all actors were wonderful esp Mo…
Have you seen Zhao Qing (Mo Cai Huan) interview? She said that she was Yang Yang's fan and she has watched most of YY's dramas. I guess that’s why the chemistry is really.
I agree. There were some eyebrow raising lines coming from him that made me wonder whether JingJing had made up…
People gradually change over time. Remember in episode 7, he said it himself "I've been conceited since I was a kid, till I hit 30, I realized I've accomplished nothing". He was indeed kinda arrogant when he was young, but then reality humbled him down to the point that it made him insecure. Then after he figured things out, he gained his confidence back and be a better person.
This drama focused on ML character development. It portrayed how the ML isn't a perfect person despite his genius brain and insane visual. But throughout the time, he grow up to be a better person. His character is very relatable to a lot of people, I think that's what makes his character interesting.
This deserves at least 8.0 I know Zhou Zhifei character is getting on everyone's nerve, but if you take a look at the history of wars, there would always be people like Zhou Zhifei who only cares about himself.
"Lament of the River Immortal" is a way better title than "Feud".
The previous title is totally xianxia-coded. From the title alone, we can already feel the angsts and the sorrow. Changing it into "feud" is so unserious.
Watching this drama was fun enough and I enjoy the chemistry between main leads, but they exaggerated the plot way too much. Some scenes are cringe too.
I thought the novel has a happy ending. At first I didn't understand why they made the ending that way, but after I checked one of its screenwriter... I guess she's just obsessed with sad ending.
Why the heat index is so low? they are popular artist right? I like Joseph after MLC, his acting 💯✨
It's not low, it already hit 7,000 heat index in less 24 hours. If the story is getting better, it might achieve 10K in the middle or by the end of the drama.
Would you be jumping out of a window also to hide from your friends that already know everything?
I've never been in such situation, but probably I might hide. Every time I'm in relationship, I feel uncomfortable showing my affection to my partner in front of my friends.
Not only about relationship, but for some activities in daily life, I tend to avoid people cuz I'm socially awkward especially If I meet someone I know by coincidence, I always feel uncomfortable.
Another example, if I wanna go out of my apartment then I sense there's someone in the corridor, I'd rather choose to wait until that person go.
To some extent, I think I could understand the FL. Jumping out of the window might be a bit exaggerating, but I could understand that feeling.
Instead of jumping out of the window, maybe she should just close and lock the door instead. 😭
Those are my fav Wang Anyu's drama.

The rating is also overrated.
It wasn't a triangle love since He Ziqiu was just confused about his feelings for a moment.
It's just that when I saw that scene, I felt like it was some thing I might do if I got caught in that situation.
