Yes, the premise is kinda similar but it's actually very different. And in my opinion, You Are My Glory is a lot better in its execution. Love scenery is okay but I think the male lead character is kinda creepy.

Everything about this drama is so perfect and therapeutic... except all those XZY's plaid shirts. 😭

Lol I think they only want to keep the english title simple. They usually have an alternative title, such as:

- Be Yourself: The Witty First Half
- Meet Yourself: Go To A Windy Place

I don't count it as break up. But I think the fake break up thing was necessary to prevent Mr. Gao from exposing about Ye Shilan background.

And about Mr. Gao case, I also wish there was more closure about how they resolve the case.

I feel like the writer is trying to explain about his writing to us through Jia Jia (Ye Shilan's best friend) like he knew there would probably some questions about why the female character is a doctor but the story barely has medical scenes so there was a scene where Jia Jia said that doctor also has a personal life and has love story.

Then in ep 20, assistant Lin and Jia Jia talk about how they like the kind of story about healthy and mature romance where the main character grow together and appreciate each other. The writer definitely talks about himself in this drama. He's really my fav screenwriter. 🤣🤣

So glad there will be no unnecessary break up in this drama. But I think Ye shilan and Lu Zhaoxi have to deal it with LDR. The trailer for ep 23 is cute 😍

I hope it can at least get 8.5 when this drama ends.

They don't ban fantasy like Xianxia because it goes with their cultures and beliefs. Xianxia story is usually based on their folklore. But fantasy drama like Zombie or vampire isn't allowed. As for time travel, body swap or reincarnation, they ban those trope because there are concern about disrespecting history or it against nature or their values.

No offense to the actor but their new fans are toxic af. Last time I heard their fans attacked Bai Lu.

Also just checked the reviews, 2 people rated this 1.0 and 3.0. It's obviously jealousy.

It's stated in drama calendar. This drama releases 5 episodes a week. Same as next week it would be:

Tuesday: ep 20 - 21
Wednesday: ep 22 - 23
Thursday: ep 24

I hate the break up thingy in a drama, but I think the break up in The Day of Becoming You made sense and it wasn't due to misunderstanding. Also they didn't drag the break up for many episodes. They broke up in ep 25 and reconciled in ep 26.

Meanwhile for Hi Venus, I hope there won't be any break up.
