FL as an actress is fine. 😂, I just don't like the character. I feel they could have written a better character. this character isn't weak, but she isn't strong, she isn't dumb, but she isn't smart. she is on the fence at every angle, even love. For me it's very disappointing and draws no interest. I find the 2nd FL draws my attention more because she has a more assertive and consistent character.
I was hoping dad would die on the battlefield. nothing can avenge his death . if the foster fathers whole family was slaughtered it still would not soothe her loss
ep29 was really good yet really rushed. it felt like this should have been split between 2 episodes and giving more attention to Manmam's contribution.
They should have showed the work the soldiers did to break the damn. TV magic did not work in this instance. they did not sell her accomplishments hard enough.
Her contribution was big in what it accomplished and they shorted us on the full effect of it.

she isn't better partnered. she is neglecting her husband's desires for her own. her husband would have wanted to help Wei & Qiao. Because he wants to make a name for himself. She wants him to remain protected. yet he feels the only way he can protect her is by fighting for Boya.
there participation in this fight would have given them great merit, instead it would be a wrong against them for not participating. if they ever need help, they should expect the same... no assistance. she puts her relationship over the lives of other people. That is not the character of a leaders wife.
