Liked his portrayal of this character. You would think he was a typically ultra uptight ML, but he wasn’t. He was a lot bolder and edgy I felt. I liked that the character would say what he wanted and didn’t. Once he made a decision he took action, but was still cute and sweet at the same time. He brought a lot of dimension to the character. Wish he had more screen time.

Not for me - just same old dim poor cinderella, cold controlling prince trope.Whilst I get the protector/protectee…
I get where you are coming from with the Cinderella thing. My only disagreement would be the strength of personality. He starts out as the stronger of the two, but she on her own decides that she needs the be stronger in order to feel that she matches him. This leads her to take the CPA exam and then she opens the store with her cousin despite the ML objections to it (he doesn't like that she doesn't pay any attention to him). She takes a stand on her principles even when he doesn't want her to. She doesn't let him boss her around when it comes to things she feels are important. I think it was a new twist on the attitude when she told him. "I am not ever going to be the best, but I will be the best of me". I think this is a refreshing. A partner shouldn't change the essential person, but bring out the best of that person. On his side, the reason he fell for her was because she was someone he could relax and be himself around. So I agree a Cinderella, but I think her character has a more modern take. Her and her family also view his wealth as a negative more than anything throughout the series.
Awesome drama. Loved the comedy! The actress was really good at showing her business shark side and the vulnerability side and making it realistic. Yi Fieyang was also a good combo of sweet and cool.
I thought it was really good. It was consistent with the storyline throughout. A romantic corporate drama. I enjoyed the main leads relationship. A little back and forth at the beginning, because of the bad first impressions and then realizing they like each other, but still debating wether they are willing to invest emotionally. I think their relationship was cute and sometimes I even laughed out loud at the silly new relationship type antics. LOVED Choi Chang’s character and the actor that played him had a lot of charisma. He stood out in his scenes.
One of my favorite re-watch dramas, but I don't understand two things. 1. Why does she still go to the outdoor area after he tells her its not allowed in episode 1? 2. Why does he always wear a coat inside? It doesn't even look like a suit jacket, but outdoor coats. Still one of the best dramas and a great novel!
i need this now. I love a book about them and prefer their story between GGS couple (i can't count how much times…
Was the book "Fish Playing in Secret Room " or "God's Left Hand"? I read honey stewed squid, but the descriptions on these novels seemed to be the history of the team before GGS took place so I didn't read them. If it has DT and Appledog's story I would want to read them.
You are right. I never understand the ending. Its ridiculous because actually the FL never accept seo jin until…
I can see where you are coming from, but at the same time I understand the FLs position. Seo Jin even said it wasn't in her personality to be able to be "in love" with both at the same time. Once she had decide on Robin she wasn't going to switch to Seo Jin even if she did love him as much. My take is she loved them both equally, but for different reasons (one she could comfort, one comforted her). What she needed most at that point in her life was someone that would be the comforter so she chose Robin. At the end when Robin disappeared she was afraid to immediately go to Seo Jin, because she felt it would be disrespectful to both Robin and Seo Jin. She didn't want Seo Jin to feel she was using him as a substitute. When he revealed that he had both his and Robin's memories. This was not longer the case because the premise of the show is a persons idenity is based on their memories. Since he had both his own and Robin's memories he was no longer just Seo Jin or Robin, but a new unique combination of the two, this means that he could no longer be considered a substitute since he was Robin and he was also Seo Jin.
