I know that this is supposed to be a lighthearted romcom I can't help but feel bothered by Deok Jin & Ae Rin's characters. Is it just me?? Like on the surface, the characters are hilarious, but if you really think about it, they're pretty creepy. First of all, Deok Jin is constantly showing up at the teacher's workplace with flowers, gifts, and A LIMO even though she makes it clear that she is not interested. Ik it's just for laughs but that behavior IRL is not ok. Plus he only likes her cus she's hot. And Ae Rin... she's a lawyer ffs, she knows that shit is illegal. Anyway, I am glad that they didn't make Si Ah develop romantic feelings for her dad LOL (which I know some ppl ship, bleh).

If young Dae Young was ugly, everyone would be weirded out by his behaviors. He just transferred to the high school, suddenly knew everything about Si-Ah and Si-Woo and always acts hella protective over them even though they just met!! He gotta tone down his nagging and just be their friend.

Also, do the kids not think he looks like their dad??? Dae Young still looked "young" when they were in kindergarten, and surely they have family photos! How can they not remember? Btw I love how there is no in between. He is either the super young version or the ahjussi lmaoo.

Da Jung doesn't know that the younger version is Dae Young, so no there is no romance. It would be illegal since he's underage and the same age as her kids lol!
Edit: there are subtle hints tho (since Dae Young obviously still likes Da Jung) but it is not mutual as of right now.

Cha Ji Won is hands down one of the strongest female leads in k-dramaland. She is so patient, forgiving, compassionate, and badass.
