Any modern c-drama recommendations that are as good or even better than TFF? I've already watched HL and WIFTY.
Things I loved about the drama are: + the couple had an intense love story that made me extremely giddy + no annoying exes/side characters or unnecessary drama + there were lots of sweet and intimate moments and didn't feel slow + amazing soundtrack, acting, and visuals
His hairstyle is different from Reply 1988, it‘s shorter and the personalities are also different. You can read…
It's the same circular curve, just shorter. And I did read the synopsis. Diligent, quiet and not very romantic - which is how I remembered Choi Taek, quiet and very focused on baduk
i hope the chemistry is good. they look more like siblings to me than lovers. esp with pbg's boyish haircut and personality similar to his role in reply 1988 which i did not like
Wow I didn't know this drama had so many haters 😂😂 glad I stick to Reddit these days! I've been missing this drama extra hard today. Perfect execution from start to finish which is extremely rare these days (*cough* WTPR *cough*)
Just finished and honestly I expected more from the romance department because they won the best couple award. I cant believe the only real kiss we got to see was 2 years later, when she decided to move away and spend her last 3 years on earth working 😭 where is the sense of urgency between these two?? The clock is ticking!!
Overall this was a great drama. This is a different type of role I'm used to seeing PSH in and she nailed it!!! She was hilarious and badass. The scenes where she sends the murderers to hell are also very satisfying, even at the very end.
Just finished my second rewatch and I noticed Sol directs a movie about a girl in a wheelchair in the last episode. During my first watch I was a little disappointed Sol never really discussed her past disability or tried working towards helping people who were disabled but I'm glad I noticed this small detail the second time around.
Could be the subbing or your interpretation. I watched it on Netflix and my interpretation of episode 23 is that…
I was talking about the subbing of their ages. She turns 19 and then shortly after (their birthdays are close together) he turns 26. That's a whole 7 year gap. This was on Netflix and another commenter had pointed it out too
I really tried to look past the age gap but in episode 23 DJX admits to having a crush on her when he was a college senior (an adult) and she was a high school senior (a minor). The age gap also seems to have some inconsistencies. They are apparently 5 years apart but in the latter part of the drama she celebrates her 19th birthday (which makes sense as a college freshman) and he celebrates his 26th shortly after?? Don't know if it's an issue with the subbing or what.
