hahaha yes i don't understand either... true beauty and nevertheless were both terrible dramas that didn't even have high ratings in korea. i have no idea how hwang in yeop got so many followers, but for song kang ik he was also in sweet home which was a hit, so it's not that big of a surprise

Personally, I wasn't irritated by SMA's acting at all. I do think she's a good actress as well, and probably the best leading lady KSH's ever had.

I thought Hyejin's aegyo was natural. Dusik also uses aegyo and does cutesy stuff with Hyejin in return whenever she does it 🤨 so why are you only bothered by Hyejin doing it? They are a couple in love, I don't see what the problem is. Didn't know there was an age limit to using aegyo and I'm pretty sure it's common in Korean culture among all age groups. And what's so gross about brushing each other's teeth..? It's not like they were using the same toothbrush.

this is why i don't really like to read MDL comments because there are a lot of casual kdrama watchers hopping on the bandwagon without first reading the synopsis or watching the trailer and then complaining that the drama is slow or too cliche. some rando even thought dusik was stalking hyejin when he gave her 100 won for her food in high school 😭 😭

what a strange conclusion you drew from those scenes LMAO. why are you suddenly making teenage dusik into a stalker when it was pure coincidence/fate that they were in the same place at the same time? he was obviously there to buy his own food and helped out a stranger who he saw was short on money.

I feel so spoiled to be able to see Seonho 3x a week (I watch 2D1N subbed on Monday) yet I still miss him so much throughout the week :'((

I have a feeling this won't play out like it did in the movie. We (and Hyejin) already know her heart is in Gongjin now, not Seoul. In ep 10, she no longer cares about fancy food, shopping, luxurious hotels, and the Han River that Seoul offers.

Homcha never disappoints. This is the first drama where I never skip the intro, either. Who knew that the sound of seagulls could be so healing?? Ep 9 was another rollercoaster. Nam Sook is hilarious - especially when Hwa Jeong stepped on her foot and she screamed hahaha

Hyejin's the one always taking steps forward. This time she'll take a couple steps back. But don't worry bc our Hong Bangjang is going to run an entire marathon for her once he's ready :))
