can someone tell me if bit na and gyu hyun are a thing?? i stopped watching this show around the time the actor's scandal came out and i read that they cut out his scenes :\ they were honestly my fave couple
As an Asian American, I can definitely see similarities between my family and the Song family, which is both good and bad haha. I don't like how overbearing the parents were at times (too real man) and I don't agree with some of the characters' actions, but I guess it's just due to cultural differences.
Some plot points were really hard to watch and I skipped some parts, but overall I was satisfied since everyone showed growth in the end. I will definitely miss the Action team trio (especially Jum Bong lol).
I hope the drama focuses on the side characters more. I am much more interested in Bit Na x Kyu Hyun's love story. The leads are so boring and their constant push and pull is exhausting. I'm rooting for potato boy though!!
Idk about others but, I was bloody mad at the kissing scene, she was plain stupid and the actually sad part is…
yeah this is too realistic for me and i hate seeing nabi fall for him!!! this drama is good but like ima need nabi to snap out of it real quick otherwise i will lose my mind LOL
I screamed at my screen so many times for Nabi to not fall for Jae Eon's fboy charms!!! Looks like Saturday nights will be a source of stress for me haha
I randomly saw this drama recommended on twitter and gave it a try without any expectations and it blew my mind!!! I AM IN LOVE. Kurumi is so beautiful and so are her outfits! I want her entire wardrobe. I am also so torn between the two guys hahaa!! Orca literally ghosted her, realized his feelings too late, and acted on his feelings while she was in a relationship, which are all huge red flags for me - BUT HE IS SO HANDSOME oh my gosh. Shun is very insecure and a terrible communicator but I can see he will slowly change (especially after ep 8) and he really loves Kurumi. He just gotta fight for her!
1. It isn't just because he has dreads that make it racist so I don't know why some people in the comments are trying to justify it by saying how dreads are worn in other ethnic communities. It's his entire over-the-top look (dreads, excessive tattoos, gold grillz) + blaccent, which doesn't even match Logan Lee's character and family! Logan literally possesses NONE of those traits and there is no context that justifies why Alex's character looks or speaks like that. Also, LITERALLY ALL OF ALEX'S BODY GUARDS WERE BLACK. This is clearly a depiction of the stereotype that black people are thugs/gangsters which is super problematic.
2. Even if you guys do not see the racism in this character, it was cringey AF and totally random to the storyline. All of a sudden Logan has a brother?? Then why did he need Min Seol Ah's bone marrow?! Also why does Alex only speak in English when Logan and his family are fluent in Korean lol. It seems like the show is making Park Eun Seok speak random lines in English as some kind of weird flex and to boost viewership.
I am SO HYPED for this drama! No doubt the leads will do great, but I am super excited to see Lee Sang Yi's performance because his acting in Youth of May was FANTASTIC.
Also, I'm kinda digging title now! Sounds fun and quirky :)
I don't really care about the romance, it was cute at first but then it became repetitive & draggy. However, I…
Totally agree! I am much more interested in learning more about the protests & democratic movement rather than the Romeo & Juliet romance. I wish more time is spent on the fight instead of Hee Tae and Myung Hee getting cozy with one another in a hospital emergency room or having a lover's quarrel :\
seokhoon found out rona's alive, his dad's a murderer, and his mom's alive in the span of 10 minutes... the range of emotions he displayed was amazing.
