Wasn't there a love triangle in Weightlifting Fairy? I thought the doctor dude liked Bok Joo. I don't think this drama will have an intense love triangle bc SikHye is already head over heels for each other. Their romance has been established for 4 eps before the SML showed up. I think it will be a more lighthearted and comedic love triangle that will die out in a few episodes :)

I think when she said she doesn't become friends with "just anyone" was a bit harsh bc it could be interpreted as "you're not good enough to be my friend / i'm too good for you" and dusik took offense to that.

I think most of the Hyejin haters are girls who are blinded by KSH's charms LOL! Ngl I fell for it too, but I am totally on Team Hyejin!! Like bro, you can't just friendzone her and then act otherwise! Confusing as hellll. Hyejin rightfully stood up for herself and drew the line, even if she was a bit harsh. Glad the SML is here to spice things up.

she has a trauma from her ex bf talking sh*t about her behind her back... now imagine moving to an unfamiliar place where everyone just gangs up and gossips about you, especially the dating rumors which makes her hella uncomfortable! also note, she has only been living there for like maybe a month or so, so it will definitely take her some time to adjust. she is only human and has shown through numerous acts that she is actually kind hearted on the inside.

Probably depends on what stage you are in life right now and what type of genres you're in the mood for at the moment. As a working adult, I can relate to many of the characters and scenes and the slice of life genre helps me relax and destress. Maybe the drama is a bit slow for some people but there are a lot of good life lessons in each episode, top notch writing, and amazing acting by the entire cast. Plus, there is a lot of humor and romance, which are right up my alley! The leads also have a very healthy and cute relationship :)

I agree. Their contrasting lifestyles can create incompatibilities and a huge wealth gap can cause the less wealthy partner to become codependent and insecure in the future. Nothing wrong with Hyejin's beliefs; I would want to find someone on the same "status" as I am as well.
