I got curious so I re-ran Ep 3, im laughing on the floor with JP & DS reciting the national anthem hahaha!! Anyway are u talking about why JP had to pretend his apartment was DS office for the sake of the lie? I think that’s when he unknowingly started caring for DM (he couldn’t sleep that night when granma said she might just tell DM) so in the end he didn’t want her to get disappointed. He wanted to end the encounters cleanly but without telling DM it was all a lie. He did bring it upon himself.
