And this is what I meant by not having a “solid” answer. It was this and then it was that - it required to be explained and interpreted thoroughly. In my case, both by you (viewer) and by the drama (writer). And I realize only after completing the show that THAT’S OKAY. I was still content with what I called a not-so-solid answer. Had I dropped the show when I posted this question which I almost did, I would’ve missed the whole point! Therefore, my new comment up top :)
DON’T BE TOO QUICK TO DROP. The funny thing is, at the beginning you’ll probably go “I don’t like the FL she’s just self centred, hurtful and consumed in self pity” and/or “I don’t like the ML he’s too boring and plain for a lead” but as it turns out, they are indeed lol. It isn’t poor writing, it’s accurate portrayal. Those are in fact the conflicts the two have to overcome. I’m content with their character development. The wrap up was well paced imo unlike every other kdrama where they just go “oh shoot 15 mins left, shut er down!”.
P.S. The big reveal isn’t a big bang. It was dropped in bits and pieces. You have to finish the whole thing to understand it.

Update: I just finished and tbh I didn’t get the “solid” answer I was initially looking for, but it still got clearer as the show wrapped up and I’m content. This drama was really good.

Is that it for the breakup reveal? I was so desperate to know the reason as the ML was. So far I’m still confused. Was it her ‘inferiority complex’? Bc life got too hard for her and ML seemed to get it too easy, she couldn’t handle it? Not saying it’s not an enough reason just want to know if there’s more explanation coming. At the beginning they were giving hints about her constantly giving “what if’s” and he would never give her the important answer she wants, but now it has nothing to do with the breakup
With APOYM you either really love it or hate it. Hopefully it gets to you cause when it does it’s so good! Bonus since you like Haesoo pairing he will keep calling “jisoo-yah” lol
Yes lmao! A few said it was boring, I think bc it is also “slow” but if you’re into slowburn it’s an okay watch too. Both leads are superb actors, almost too good for that script. Also if you recall in Goblin JHI made a cameo as her first crush - just a cute fyi
Yes OSN is far from fluffy it portrays “imperfect” leads and circumstances. Whereas SITR is mostly fluff, very good fluff at that, but that’s about it so the last few eps are either unnecessary or irrelevant. Snowdrop to me is more political than romance, there were times I’d forget she was there. Although she had major effect on ML’s actions, everything still revolved on what happens to the ML (which I have absolutely no complain about, being a JHI fan LOL) but that said, my personal favorite FL (by the character not by the actress) is APOYM. I appreciated their growth as a couple so much. That’s just me. Let me know how you progress with your binge. Hopefully you get to compare all 3 as well, I’m curious what u think :)

OSN is more mature, realistic, practical. How to date like an adult. It has a steady plot and a consistent flow. Nothing extraordinary but not lacking. Warning: leads chemistry not as strong as the others.
Bonus: DP has no romance but it’s friggin brilliant!!! His best yet! Warning: it has season 2.
