Immortality 38k+Long ballad 34k+Bad buddy is 34k+Start-up 30k+Snowdrop 21k+
Did you watch any? "Long ballad" seems interesting. I would probably watch it soon. "Immortality" reminds me of "The untamed" a little. I would watch it too, but it seems that they gave up from making it in China??? Rn, I already started "Falling into your smile" and "My fated boy". And have desire to watch every drama with Jung Hae In bc of "Snowdrop". I thought to watch again "Something in the rain", I liked it, but put it on hold around 9 or 10th episode and never went back.... Too much dramas to watch....
Yeah ,even though it completed 11 episodes, I feel like it’s still in mid way…I want snowdrop to be 20 episodes
Yes, but it doesnt change that it feels like we are in the mid way. Do you feel like we are at the end? For me, the real plot just started in the last episode (11). We got 0 things solved and new complications just happened in the 11th ep while the new complications are on the way too.....
I feel that the plot and number of episodes dont really "work" (idk what word to use... suit???).
We are on 12th episode, out of 16! And not a lot of things happened or got solved. I LOVE IT anyway, but I think that drama would be even better, like masterpiece, if it was longer or with a little different plot until now (more detailed and faster-passing plot). I cant stop thinking that we didnt get a lot of things and how nth was processed to the details. There is a lot of characters and every has it's own story, there is so much potential for this to be SO GOOD, but bc of the plot so far and the number of episode I can already see that it wont be used. And it makes me sad a little.
Also, I am not fan of the plot where 100 mysteries get solved in the last episodes/parts. It's a lot more interesting when you have gradual progress in solving through the plot.
I have to agree with that, i wont say she is bad but like you said not that good! some parts she did well in it,…
Yes, kisses in Kdramas are often like it... Also, I think that she was suprised and it's the reason why the kiss was that way. The second kiss wasnt as bad as the first too. And I think that we will get more at the start of the next episode bc the scene didnt look like it is finished.
I was thinking of the attic scene & this is going to be a bit long. I know there are different opinions about…
I think that her understanding his position is the most important. As you said good example is when he talked about killing people. But also when his comrades talked about his sister and how he will never live normally from now on bc he became traitor. I think that she understood his situation (his family/sister will die if he doesnt go to NK or do his mission, he has 0 control over his life, he is forced to follow orders) and how much he is risking by helping everyone (he is pretty much ruining his life + risking life of his sister).
Why are people blocking someone on MDL? I didnt see anyone worth blocking... Isnt it interesting to see different opinions and have a debat with people with who you dont agree?
She forgave Soo Ho because she finally trusts Soo Ho when he said he doesn’t want to hurt anyone, and with proof…
Honestly, you can see it that way, I cant disagree.... Lol
BUT she is still brave and daring and all things I said even if it was stupid in some way. How many girls would actually do those things if they were in her place? Not many. Also, she shined in the good way during first few episodes and showed all those traits without stupid moments imo. We shouldnt forget it. And she is young, inexperienced, we cant expect her to know what to do in this situation.
The last part would be better as "have a spy fall for her" bc him falling for her is far more impactful on the plot than her falling for him.
Edit: Only at the start her falling was more impactful if we will say that she helped him only bc she liked him.
She forgave Soo Ho because she finally trusts Soo Ho when he said he doesn’t want to hurt anyone, and with proof…
Maybe to you, but to me it's quite logical why she forgives him. He showed how bad all of this effected him and made decision to help + saved her life. And also she finds out that his family is in the risk, he was forced to be spy and didnt like his job, but cant leave it. The same reason why I would never hate Boon Ok, I never hated Sooho. I can see a reason why she is doing something and I pitty her bc of her stupid decisions. And I dont really see what does this have with complexity of YR's characters... Just bc she forgives "easy" doesnt change that she is also quite brave, inciative, daring, understanding, funny... She isnt just cute, careless and forgiving.... Edit: Ofc, it's your right to see her the way you see and think w.e. you want. I am just putting things the way I see them.
She forgave Soo Ho because she finally trusts Soo Ho when he said he doesn’t want to hurt anyone, and with proof…
It isnt the point of my comment at all. The point is that he is risking his life to save them and that he was forced to do everything he did (even becoming the spy). He made very hard decision (helping them) and it shows a lot of who he REALLY is. And he already saved their lifes few times (just her life, he saved 3 or maybe even more times). The other point is that we dont know the story between YR, her brother and step-mom. You are talking like we know it when we dont know it AT ALL. Even if we will go just by what we know, Sooho is far better person than her step-mom. Dude is risking so much to save everyone while that woman is trying so hard to kill 13 young girls just so her husband would be president..... I think that you missed completelly how complex character Sooho is and in what a complex and complicated situation he is. And probably skipped every scene of step-mom.
She forgave Soo Ho because she finally trusts Soo Ho when he said he doesn’t want to hurt anyone, and with proof…
He pretty much saved her and other hostages numerous times (from Joo mostly). Right now, he is risking his life to save them too (he wants to save comrades and his life too, but it doesnt change the fact that he wants to save hostages too which is making everything 100 times harder for him. And after it, his life will be ruined completelly bc he will become traitor in NK and he must go to NK if he doesnt want his sister dead). Not to mention that he is pretty much forced to be the spy. Her step-mom is such a terrible person, I wouldnt be suprised if she actually had something with the death of YR's mom (we didnt get a lot of details about this, but I am sure that there must be some story and the good reason why kids went to grandma. It doesnt seem that YoungRo and her brother hate their father, both were happy to see him. So there must be something or maybe something was made up by step-mom).
The part that really made me mad/disappointed is when she shoot at Ms. Pi. I can understand that she cant make…
Exactly! Honestly, even her believing doctor that they will keep only her alive is so ignorant/stupid/naive (i dont even know what!). Like how exactly will they do it!??? Bring her with them to North Korea??? ANSP will take her under them after they just killed 30+ people bc she helped NK spies?????
The part that really made me mad/disappointed is when she shoot at Ms. Pi. I can understand that she cant make…
Yes, but it's kinda my point. She could just work for NK lowkey while being as nice as possible to everyone (spies and hostages) and she wouldnt have those problems on her back + will have back plan under all circumstances. But no, she had to have all those "power" performances like an idiot! Also, I cant believe that she can trust ANSP after what happen to her family. It's so stupid! Like she did it more times (in other episodes too) even though she had first hand experience with ANSP....
I don’t hate Boon Ok’s character, but I can’t forgive her for her actions All she had to do is she must have…
The part that really made me mad/disappointed is when she shoot at Ms. Pi. I can understand that she cant make decision about who to believe and trust or she simply just got brainwashed by doctor, but to really try to shoot at someone (especially someone who is always trying to help her) is big no. Also, contacting ANSP was pretty stupid move. I really dont know should I see her as worldly-wise or just as stupid and selfish. She showed more stupidity than anything so far.... Even stealing from students is such a stupid and pitifull move or when she took revenge on them when she started to work for NK (i didnt like it at all. Boon Ok didnt look cool or something, her actions were just pitifull imo. As there is proverb "give people power to see who they really are". She just looked pitifull to me, enjoying her "power" in such a stupid way).
I still feel that Sohoo’s adoptive father didn’t send that message Somewhere I feel he has something up his…
He is planning something for sure. I think that he knows that Sooho will never let people die (himself and comrades) + it seems that he taught him to stay alive under all circumstances bc until the last episode Sooho kept saying how his father needs him alive and such things. So he probably used it + in character description, it's said that Sooho's biological mother is some big name in the party. So maybe "father" knows who she is and plans to pull it too. He asked once the woman who wants to kill Sooho (idk the name, but she is always next to father in the scenes. She ordered Joo to kill him and since start wants to kill him for some reason) will she order the same (to kill themselves together with all hostages) if he was her son....
The ultimate sad ending would be "YoungRo dying to save Sooho". I would be so pissed off, if this happens! PS: I dont think that it will happen. But think that it would be the saddest possible end. I think that it will happy ending for main couple.
I really liked Young Ro reaction to how awkward a first kiss can be. The confusion on her face and not understanding/believing…
It was cute. But I would still like more if she returned it or hug him after a kiss. I felt like he really needs one big, warm, comforting hug. Maybe we will get it at the start of the next episode?
Yes, we did at the end! I would like if YoungRo returned kiss, but we have time ig. She could at least hug him, I felt like he really needed a hug. Sooho is suffering so much, I feel sorry for him. And even if we dont get a passionate kiss, it's ok....
After watching so many femme fatale movies.I think Cheong ya is holding her gun kind of weakly. Not sure if intended.…
I must agree. I saw a lot of people talking how good she is as a leader. But I dont see it at all. To me she always has "I am calm and idc" atitude and expression. Probably they wanted to portrait her that way bc she is a veteran spy and she is supposed to be "stable all the time", but it doesnt work for me at all. It looks to me like she is bored or pretending.
