Ok, it's a bit better w/subs, but I swear Shan Cai is frustratingly slow and a busybody. I know it's all scripted, but I just finished 7 and was irritated to see how she took those smacks without fighting back. I guess no room for flying kicks...
edit: just watched episode 8 and am completely annoyed w/the female lead. Gah, she's so stupid. =_=
Keep watching. I felt that way too, but the annoying concubine storyline will pass pretty quickly...well, once you reach epi 28. You'll feel considerably better then.
The same for me, i am getting obssessed with this drama. Waiting sub is so frustrating, !!! I want more to know…
Rejoice, Monday is almost here! ...never thought I'd ever look forward to the start of the week so much. Here's another preview for tomorrow's episode #37 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpqDSWICAeY
I have major bags from lack of sleep. I just keep watching/rewatching and looking for spoilers. The translation of the novel is not complete, so it's torture waiting for both drama and novel to air and update.
Might anyone know if there's a site to read further translation of novel, or recommendations for other epic dramas?
I saw that... He was about to tell him but missed the opportunity... and just let Wuji go. He probably can tell…
Oh wow, thank you for that spoiler, Vivian! On wiki for the drama, they noted fake Fo Lian as the one that caused the death of Fuyao's mother. Unsure if she actually killed her or was the reason behind her death that ties the doctor in...or if it will be a completely different storyline not involving the doctor at all.

You actually answered my question, thank you Vivian :) Might you know how and why the doctor knows? Just read the twitter feed where the poster noted that he knew from the beginning that she was Fo Lian. Unsure if that's how it's played out in the novel or just the drama.
Wait, what do you mean. Does the doctor know that she is pretending to be Fo Lian or is Fuyao actually Fo Lian.
Another spoiler...Prince Nutless (Yi) threatened that doctor to tell his father that his "down there" is fine and that he can still have children. None of that is true and he's wicked bitter and going around abusing and killing female servants.
Wait, what do you mean. Does the doctor know that she is pretending to be Fo Lian or is Fuyao actually Fo Lian.
Fuyao has no idea of her past and her memories were locked away by a spell. Doctor knows that Fuyao is the real "Lotus Princess" Fo Lian and that the other one is a fake, but has not told Wuji. Wuji still thinks the Fo Lian that is imprisoned is the real one, but knows she's not good. That paper/document he gave her listed all the evil things she's done. She (fake Fo Lian) is carrying a crystal to keep her from getting ill while she was the one spreading the plague. // This is what my friend told me as we watched episode 36.
My friend who speaks Chinese and is caught up on the episodes told me that the doctor is aware that Fuyao is the real Fo Lian, but hasn't told Wuji. Did anyone else catch that and if so, any idea why he hasn't shared it with him yet?
Guessing, and I could be wrong, it has to do with the plot by the Ancient Firmament where our main characters' (except Fuyao) masters are conspiring...
More confusing than tragic. Cannot say for certain since I watched it raw and I'm still reading the novel. 1.…
Thank you, AvaStar12! There's been so many chapters. Was it another character that died from touching that poison wooden buddha statue. Do you mind if I ask if the novel has a happy ending? I remember reading they had a child in spoilers posted, but don't remember the details.

Oh yeah, the princess had a rounder face which it appears to be from the slight profile we saw. (Thank you for mentioning that. Totally forgot about the princess.)
In the book though, the princess dies (if I remember correctly) from touching poison wood from a buddha statue. The drama and novel storylines are different.
I can't be the only one that dislikes the Elder Statesman's daughter ugh. I really would like to get rid of her…
Just finished episode 32. Not sure if it's the actors acting out their roles or if it's the actors themselves (possibly a mix of wishful thinking on my part), but Fuyao/Yang Mi seems to have good chemistry with the doctor/Lai Yi. It felt a bit like that in "Ten Miles..." as well.
The doctor doesn't seem to have that chemistry with Qi Zhen's daughter. Maybe it will change later in the drama...
Reading a recap of 25, but about to rewatch w/subs.
"In the same court, she sees Xiao Qi dressed up as a maid. He came to look for her and was forced to pretend to be a female in order to not be a eunuch."
Need Spoilers. Does this have a tragic end for the couple? PM me.

1. Last epi #48, Yunxi takes a pill then drops to the floor in front of second lead (GQS) who happens to be chained up to prevent her from sacrificing herself.
2. (during a previous fight w/a poison person, GQS was infected.) In his rage at seeing Yunxi killing herself to make a cure for the male lead (LFY), it triggered his poison person "powers" and he broke through his restraints and he holds Yunxi while she passes him her bracelet and dies in his arms..after she plunges a knife into her heart for the final ingredient for the cure. I think she makes him promise to bring the cure to LFY.
3. GQS wanders off holding Yunxi's bracelet and walks past a poisoned smokey area where he walks encounters dead poison people on the ground and then succumbs to that smoke and passes out.
4. A female shows up and takes feeds GQS a pill and takes the bracelet. We don't see her face, but GQS mumbles something about "poison lass/girl" which is what he called Yunxi. (side note, I swear that did NOT look like Yunxi, it looked like the courtesan, Yu Ze.)
5. Final scene shows LFY, our male lead, reminiscing about his past with Yunxi, and then he sees her picking flowers in front of him... It was abrupt and out of nowhere...unless they explained something in Chinese that I didn't catch before.
Basically, I was too confused to feel sad or feel it was tragic. // I am including the spoiler here in case anyone else was curious.
I'm on episode 14 and I don't really know what's going on lol. Who is who and what's happening. Can someone explain…
Check wiki for characters from the drama. Some of the descriptions do change as the drama progresses. There are some spoilers written, so avoid if you prefer to be surprised. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legend_of_Fuyao
