Dropped it on episode 9. I don't know how I lasted so long. If you're not going to adapt it to a live action, there's no need to do it. Webtoons don't translate well to live actions, especially in terms of pacing.

I haven't watched that one. I saw some movies that didn't paint North Korea as CLOY did. Maybe that portrayal in CLOY is why the show was so famous outside of the kdrama bubble.

I'm inclined to agree. The one he made after this one was even worse, and it had similar problems: The actress who played his mother was 11 years older than him!!

I'm so angry rn. This isn't underweight. This is life-threatening weight. She's 1,64m. She's more or less my height. 37kg is extreme and might make her body stop functioning properly. She's already so thin in her regular weight. Why would she need to do this when there's CGI? When there's other tricks to make people look thinner? This sends a very negative message as well. I'm not going to watch this drama. I'm not standing for this.
There's no money, no career, no fame, no commitment that is worth putting your life at risk like this and giving out this example to teenage girls especially.

This is why you shouldn't do any sequels. They doubled down on the stereotypes instead of breaking them. I can't watch this anymore.

If I wanted to read a webtoon, I would. I don't know why there's absolutely no adaptation to the medium. An anime from a webtoon turning out like this would be ok, but a drama? It becomes boring because it's too fake and contrived. So it will probably be just chewing gum for the brain, like Hollywood rom-coms.

I'm on episode 14 and still have a hard time liking that character. I understand her but it makes me angry, especially because I was raised somewhat the same way. It's no excuse for being a clueless ahole (sorry).
