On My Gear and Your Gown Nov 23, 2020
Pure saved the entire show. Everything's slow and everything is a misunderstanding. I'm just happy it's finally over. I'm still trying to figure out if the good moments of the show can outweigh everything else. Atm, I don't think so.

I figured it was Director Tee that saved s1, oh and apparently she and her team did the production and editing…
The editing and the sound aren't cutting it for me... This could have been so good.

I'm with you on Alex, she's triggering all kind of alarms with me, not just because she's obsessing but also because…
A bit of Terrence vibes...

Well, do you expect they still wearing exactly the same outfit when they studying in the unversity eventhough…
It's the style. It didn't seem in line with the other clothing they were wearing during that episode. That was idol-wear not regular people-wear.

Totally agree. Like why was everyone so tense at the family dinner and why was everyone so annoyed at Thorn wanting…
He wasn't throwing a party. It was a family dinner with an announcement. It seems perfectly normal. Except he should have known about the problems regarding this issue between Tharn and Type since they've been together for 7 yrs. It should have come up quite a few times.

Usually, you make sure the person you're proposing to is in the same page as you and has the same life goals.

That's how you're supposed to be when you want to marry someone!! Thorn is the most emotionally intelligent person in that whole family and knows how to show it.
The actor is really good. He carried the whole scene all by himself.

It seemed like Thorn proposes every single month to a different person. It doesn't make sense. Their relationship with the sister doesn't make sense.

Actually the scene ad Tharn's parents house was supposed to be tense and awkward because it involved talking about…
They were stiff and awkward long before the conversation even started. If that were the case, Thorn would have prepared them since he seems to be very emotionally intelligent and would not throw a bomb just like that. The family reacted as if Thorn proposes to a different girl every month. They didn't have any kind of interaction with the sister like they used to. They call her princess but seem like strangers. Yes, it's supposed to be a way of introducing their ongoing discussion about marriage but judging from the first series, it would be something Tharn would already be familiar with. The whole interaction doesn't make sense to me.

I agree with you. I do not want to blame the director though, but the director changed and there's some boring…
I was scared when I saw the notification because I thought I would get some hate for this comment... ?? I think it's too early to say maybe. It's best to see how it develops but I'm not very hopeful.
On Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol Nov 7, 2020
I really hated it at first and found it very annoying but I continued watching because the mains are some of my most favourite actors and I'm glad I did. It grew on me.
I was expecting so much more. It seems like they're set on feeding fanservice based on the hypothetical relationship between the actors and they're not set on the story or the characters at all.
The scene at his parent's house was so tense and stiff. It wasn't fluid at all, it was like Mew and Gulf visited some strangers where Mew's dog lives?!?.. they even dressed like Mew and Gulf, not like Tharn and Type. The brother singlehandedly carried that whole scene.
It's good to have some Easter eggs once in a while but it doesn't seem like 7 yrs have passed and the scenes they said were intense were just not built up at all. Maybe it's because it's the first episode. Maybe give it some time.
The splashes of misogyny aren't doing them any favours as well, but that was something I was already expecting.
I'm very disappointed they didn't really include Techno in their first episode. He's the highlight that ties everything together.
They probably needed more time to do this since the audio seemed to be messed up too. It's ok to take some time.
On En of Love: This Is Love Story Jul 22, 2020
This is so badly done that I watched the last episode some time ago and didn't even realise it was the last one.

I don't see a story. I see a player trying to convince himself he loves someone and a person just going with the flow. I don't really get the purpose or the point. The group settings are just embarrassing. Maybe I just don't get in I didn't really enjoy the set of of these series at all. These aren't for me.

I agree! I never really hated a lead character and I think I hate Bae Ta Mi now! She just seems to show absolutely no emotion yet being extra dramatic in her choices. She also doesn't have a good moral backbone. It's ok to have flaws, everyone has them but she does very questionable things. I loved Scarlett and the second couple a lot! I was only able to finish this because of them!! They're so good together! I just didn't enjoy the way she cried, that was completely unnecessary. I really hate how this drama was filmed. It was "too creative" at times. It just made me lose interest by being too dramatic and too passive/subjective at times. One could even say "romantic". This is a story about badass women, not classical Disney Princesses! They messed up the pace, making it boring, added warm light and played with light in romantic scenes making them cringy, added variety music to the car wrecking scene making it look like they were making fun of them instead of making them look badass and they do a negotiation scene just soft-focusing on the eyes??It seems like the directors don't take women seriously or just decided to experiment with this drama! I would only watch this again if it's remade with women directors.

I just started watching this and I really don't know who thought this soundtrack would be a good option.
On Theory of Love Apr 13, 2020
Even if you take out the romance part, their relationship is simply toxic. Friends don't act like that and don't treat each other like trash.

I'm so angry that this was directed by two dudes! They ruined an excellent story. Why would they make it slow paced and have it as if we're outside looking into their lives instead of living them with them?
Why the overly dramatic/romantic lighting? Just everything, why???

There's a profound dissonance between the story and its visual representation and acting direction sometimes.
This is an active story, full of proactive women and interesting events, yet they try to over dramatise romantic moments. No, that light has no way being there. It's f*cking raining and it's evening, they're inside and there's no sun coming through to that window!! You can tell her interest just by the way he captures her attention, there's no need for these gimmicks!

And just why would you film two people having a conversation from a distance they'd have to be shouting at each other if there wasn't the existence of microphones and this being a drama?
Just so we can see the falling leaves from the sakura tree? Is there no other way to do this? It's ok to film it as if we're on the outside looking in but the story isn't like that! The story is very first person, it's not a window into women's lives!!!!!

They couldn't deal with women doing stuff so they had to slow them down and give them romantic traits they personally don't have. The direction really ruined it for me, and I'm only on episode 5.
On She Was Pretty Mar 31, 2020
This is just terrible.
She can't find jobs because she's ugly. Being ugly means curly hair and freckles (?). They gave her rosacea and it didn't look bad at all, she looked better than with all the makeup. Going from comfortable shoes to very high heels. They're turning her into the idea of women they try to turn every woman instead of praising our differences and how beautiful they are.
The leads actions are too out of character. They don't match and seem completely unnatural. Both the male leads treat her like garbage. Pranking someone and getting on their nerves all the time is no cute.
The leads have no chemistry. She seems like his mother.

She's backstabbed by her best friend and they never really talk about it.
I can't with all this.

Title Never Twice
I treat patients of early onset Alzheimer's and it is absolutely the norm! Seems like the person who lacks research…
I'm not criticising the acting. I'm criticising the story.
You should read my comment again and ask me if you have any doubts about what I'm saying. I think I was very clear, but you never know.

I have experience with the illness and I never said I was an expert. I'm providing my point of view just like you can provide yours and both can coexist in the same space.
