Started out well, but…

It started out just the kind of series I was looking for—
Cute, fluffy, fun, but there were lots of holes, then some things that made no sense. What attracted me, at first was the star-power of the cast, and the intriguing storyline.

Unfortunately, along the way, the story weakened and the logistics behind everything, just didn’t seem important to anybody, anymore. Toward the end it really started losing me, but I pressed on, since I devoted so much time into it.

BoBae touched so many things that should have carried electricity—am I being too picky? IDK. But, when you get to the parts with the back-stabbing relatives, with little to no repercussions, and nothing done about a double kidnapping, attempted murders (of her brother & her, and Yoon), and the embezzlement— until after so much time passes, it just seemed absurd.

And BoBae leaving, even though she apparently couldn’t harm HoRang , even though she didn’t know whether her powers would return, or not, also made little sense.

So, cute & fluffy, just turned to absurdity in the end. Sad, because it should have been so much better.

It was a combination of, either lazy writing, or a story, that nobody cared enough about, to put more effort into making more sense, in my opinion. I wouldn’t recommend it. There so much better quality KDramas out there.

Also, my measure of a, truly, good KDrama is that it grabs your emotions, tugs at your heart, makes you cry, at some point, but that never happened for me, here. There wasn’t the range of emotion that, really, touched you. It wasn’t the actors faults, it just wasn’t there in the writing.
