Yah there were many characters that didnt have to die and the ending was open. I was left with lotsa ????? after that so i went to tbe mdl page to read what others commented. I still dunno if she was hallucinating or what. Cos there was no dying scene for the main couple, only implied. Overall still not bad. The worthless emperor finally made himself worth a tiny bit. Then they set off that bomb just like that!!

Yes so many dramas started well but wrecked themselves towards the end. And then we realise YM wasnt really interested in his job. He just wanted to leave with his girl and avenge his parents. After these were done, he conveniently quit. To be fair, QingEr didnt deserve that stab from YM. He was a terrified kid when the Man in White made him shoot the arrow. How could they blame their deaths on him!

They were together quite early on. Maybe by the first 10 episodes? Yes YM sort of broke up with AS for a while because he said she was no longer the AS he knew, but now a princess. But they got back together realllllyyyy fast by the next episode. Yeah big happy end for all except the baddies.
Wow they murdered a person in broad day light in front of a crowd. Hahahah i really dont think this can be justified even if the one dead is the bad guy. The bad guys also turned really brainless in the last few episodes.. sigh..maybe its just me but i thought the final arc was awful. I was expecting it would take more to destroy them but they just fell apart. Sorry...
What i did enjoy were the few episodes before they set off on their journey. The funniest scene tonight was when YM and WKW swore to become brothers in the presence of XiaoBao the snake! YM almost turned it into a wedding by wanting to pray to heaven. But the blood drinking was eeewww.. 🤣🤣 WKW was hilarious after he became sober and found out what happened. I also really like the touching scene when YM came to bid farewell to LaoYu and they recognised each other as father and son. Too bad YM was squinting so much in the sunlight, i thought it compromised his expressions. (I know he has sensitive eyes but he was really squinting a lot throughout the show😅🫣) My favourite character in this drama has to be LaoYu ever since he appeared with the roast chicken! He is now immortalised as the Roast Chicken Fairy Godfather. And not forgetting An XiuYi, he had the most growth. Im surprised that i actually like this character, who was a huge brat at the start, more than the main leads. Im glad it ended well for everyone. Tjc falls for a princess once again here but this time, he quits his job and happily marries her. 😂
Corny joke tonight Epi28/29: YM and AS are in the clothing store. AS chooses clothes for Uncle Kang who has been coughing. YM grumbles that after wearing them, Kang Fu Shi will definitely Kang Fu (recover).
YM laments DuoMi's letters to AS are kept in a green box. "Wearing green hat" means the wife is having an afffair and so the husband is being "greened".
