Not sure of his religion but those are buddhists monks standing around. Actually buddhism, taoism and confucianism are sorta fused together for chinese. We have ancestor worship and pray to taoist gods and also buddha /guan yin. Most do not identify with a religion but religious concepts have been fused with the culture and mind set, such as kharma (buddhism), fate/heaven's will (taoism) and filial piety (confucianism) etc..
Holding incense and bowing is also a large part cultural rather than religious.
The ccp is atheist but claims to protect the right to religion.

My favs are the 2 in the opening episode: hostage prince and DG with all the glowing circles behind and cg weapons. Another fav is the one with the blue eye and light coloured hair after he was poisoned.

Strangely I dont like the emperor ttj look. 😂😂😂

Fav look for LSS was also in epi 1 where she just woke up as YXW. Loved the hair and clothes! And then the peachy one as she hung around Emperor TTJ bringing him food.
Least fav was her goddess look cos i think it made her look older.
