I actually feel they should have gone with the original footage since Zhang Haowei was cleared. Reapply the license or something. Just because money was spent on replacement doesnt mean they have to use it when it's so bad.
A large percentage of the comments here are about the AI and it obviously bugs people badly. 🤣

Hahaha i agree with u. I am also the same height as WCR and that is tall in asia where im from. Guys have told me they feel intimidated before. 🤣
I wonder if those who are feel strongly about a guy's height also happen to be shorter because this is what they actually experience. That almost every guy is taller than themselves so it feels like that should be the norm? If so, i can understand.
However I am very annoyed by people who go crazy over tall and goodlooking actors but who cannot act, and then turn to question what i like about TJC. I do not bother to explain because i dont think i can get through to them.
Unfortunately c entertainment promotes this unhealthy height obsession. Its so common to praise 1.9m tall actors for just being tall, as if they worked hard for it. And shorter celebs like Zhou Shen and Yang Di often make jokes about their own short statures.

Why are the ratings so low? Haven't started watching it yet.
I think the first 2 episodes started off not so well with the bad AI replacement and editing. The hype also greatly raised people's expectation of this lower budget romcom and they were disappointed it didnt turn out to be S+ drama quality.
It's a gem from epi 3 to 5 and im really enjoying the leads' interactions. They are so funny together!
