agree. i've been a fan of jang seo hee since miss mermaid and she never fails to deliver! queen of makjang indeed.

same! it was too son actually. queen's house ended in sept. 2025 and the first man premiered on dec. 15, 2025. daily drama fans would inevitably compare the two since the gap was just short. maybe they did jang mi like that to avoid comparison to jae in.

for emotional weight, i guess. there are lots of legalities that surround marriages that people who are not married cannot tackle. i think if jun ho will go that route of protecting jang mi, jang mi can use that to strike at hwayoung the hardest.

HAHAHA the affair is actually Yeong Ja's arc. She's the one who should discover it. Maybe watching his adoptive mother devastated will add more fuel of Jun Ho's disgust of Hwayoung.

I feel like a lot has happened but not in a significant way and A LOT will still happen. Dong Seok's possible return, the discovery of the affair, Ssangkal's girlfriend, the wedding, the mystery man who has the map of all the important people, Seo Rin waking up, Jun Ho's bio dad, Baeky-ssi's biological parents, what the chairman really knows about those secret phone calls, etc etc.
