I write a rather lengthy analysis of all the characters, Jae Min included and I talk about it. To quote myself:…
Oh ok, I see. Yeah, now looking back on the story, it really seems like Jaemin doesn't truly love Da-on. If he did, he wouldn't be pulling all these crazy strings and behind the scenes nonsense. Really sad.
Can anyone explain to me why Jaemin rejected Da-on in one of the earlier episodes? This many episodes in, I still don't understand why, and then in this most recent episode, Jaemin begins to yell - "why did you abandon me?" Is it because Jaemin prefers a relationship based on pity or......
I'm feeling distressed about the direction of this drama's plotline; what Jaemin is doing feels so uncalled for and nonsensical; nothing feels resolved and no one is happy. I know the show hasn't finished yet but still I was hoping for there to be some communication between Da-on and Jaemin.
I wish all of these characters would just hash it out and talk to each other instead of creating a mess, leaving Da-on not knowing what's going on.
It feels like the two guys in the drama are stripping Da-on of his autonomy to make a choice; none of them can accept Da-on picking just one of them. This is nuts.
I know some people are upset about the ending, and I am, too. But I would still describe the show as devastatingly beautiful, and I understand why the ending was what it was.
The acting was strong, the plot was strong, and the characters deeply moved me. Also the OST was beautiful -- how it captured the mood of every emotion and scene was really spot on.
I do think there could have been a little bit more to the ending, even if it wasn't going to end entirely happy. (Or just have more episodes)
But again, this is a drama as devastating as it is moving. It was definitely a different concept, but for the better.
I noticed the lighting of the scenes change to a bluish-grey when it shows the scenes without Ji Hoon. I thought that was really interesting and reflects the overall sentiment of loss of someone you love.
Hey y'all, what are some of your favorite moments that you've thinking about from this series? Let's share some together. I loved everything about the show and all the moments are ones to treasure There will be spoilers below. _____________________________________ _____________________________________
Recently I've been thinking about the purple scenery in Episode 7 showing the feelings of Sangwoo and Jaeyoung falling for each other. Just so beautiful and thoughtful
Also the confession and what Jaeyoung's new proposition! Oh my God; my heart completely melted
Years from now, we will look back at this masterpiece and realize how much of a classic it has become. This show will become timeless. I'm simply in awe right now
This deserves to be a Netflix series. Indeed an incredible trailblazer; honestly my standards for K-BLs (and perhaps BLs in general) have been raised much higher because of this well-produced show. It needs WAY MORE than 8 episodes (possibly the standard 16 episodes as seen in NETFLIX SERIES?)
It's just too good. Hopefully if there is a SEASON 2, we will see more development of the plotline and the characters, etc.
There has to be a Season 2; it wouldn't make sense if there wasn't. There's so much more to explore with these incredible characters and actors.
It doesn't make sense.
