I'm on episode 2 and i'm this close 🤏 to drop itCan someone please tell me , if it's get better, in next episodes??…
I'm with you, and it isn't even about just the characters. It is the awkward acting, the strange juxtaposition of time periods, or the story itself.
I may be the only one, but there seems to be a serious decline in the quality of Thai BL's.

yall its not fcking real
You literally insulting someone for having an opinion and then pointing out that personal opinion is valid is rather ironic.
Mame shows are going to be problematic for some.

It is a very funny, cute show that does delve into some deeper issues.
The acting is outstanding. I love the little meta moments.
It takes its time to flesh out characters and tell the story.
It is also the show that made me realize that people apparently do not pay attention.
Every single criticism is explained away in the show itself.
Why is Pi fighting with Mork in the beginning? Did you watch the show?
Why is Pi after Nan? Did you watch the show?
Why does Pi want to date in secret? Did you watch the show?

Did I miss it or have Book and Bonus never actually kissed? Like lips to lips kiss. They didn't kiss in Gen Y…
Nope, which I found very strange.

Wow, this was bad. It's propably one of the most disjointed shows I've ever watched.
The editing was all over the place. Who thought this was a good idea?

You make some excellent points.I'm not as unhappy about Tofu's return to bear form as I am about the way it came…
Wow, attacking a poster like this?
I personally thinks the ending is not LGBT friendly, yes we have the second couple (whose family accept them) vs. a traumatized gay man who had to deal with his family's homophobia going through trauma again. (His boyfriend even gets killed by a family member.)
Possible lesbian? That scene came out of nowhere, and in no way does this promote LGBT positivity. It again make's it seems that being LGBT is a choice.

Wow. Damn.
100% Agreed. It should not have been marketed as it was. And with the directors own comment that she perceives Nut as Tofu's master it just gives of a weird vibe.

Your either all in with the romance your do not explore it.
Having more trauma heaped on a main character at the end of a show because you force a relationship negates any pro LGBT statements you make.

I got into a bit of argument with another poster when I said the show is not very pro LGBT because it is another "bury your gays" trope.
To which the poster replied that the other characters had happy endings.
Yes, the secondary characters got a happy ending, the gay guys that got full support from their families and has not had a fraction of the trauma that Nut went through, and now you pile even more trauma on the guy?

The thing is, they change the story entirely when they made the show from Tofu's POV.
This was totally on the director and her own personal views.

and tofu said that he is happy can made this miracle happen even if no one know that he made it
Also, I find it weird that Tofu comes to the conclusion that he needs to die simply because Phrip said a one liner about Tarn getting better once.
I realise he finally makes the decision when he cuts his hand, but if she never said that, the thought would not have even crossed his mind.

The guy is brain dead in the show! lol.
Whether he woke up again or not should not have been Tofu's responsibility.

Ok.
I personally think that they marketed the show wrong.
The official poster is Tofu and Nut, Tarn is nowhere in sight.

On another note, if the book is from Tarn's point of view while he is in the coma, that means the director made the decision to chance the storyline entirely, which makes me question the claim that they couldn't have changed the ending.

Anyway, I'm done complaining about this, the fact that they are now running around trying to do damage control means that they themselves realise they made some serious miscalculations.
I will always be sad that they ruined such a great show due to the director's own views.
Also the author now saying that Tofu was not supposed to be 'that cute' is extremely unfair to an actor that embodied such a great character.

Which implies that Tofu is much more than an ordinary teddy bear, especially since according to posters he originally becomes sentient in another book while he is still in the toy shop.

Wow. Damn.
While commenting on another post on reddit, I realised that Tarn's recovery is a plot line that does not get more attention.
The marketing for this show was done wrong.
Even the poster implies a different ending. There is no Tarn in sight.
This should never have been a gay romance, instead it should just have been a statement on Thai society, period.
The love story between Tofu and Nut should never have been explored.
On The Miracle of Teddy Bear May 6, 2022
There is a plot point that keeps being overlooked. We have a character that we are constantly being told is brain dead that suddenly recovers due to Tofu's death. That would imply that there are even more 'miracles' that Tofu is responsible for.
