honestly i dont want ok nyeo to end up with tae won. i think she might be one of the kings descendants so she…
noooooooooooooooo! why can't she have both power and a hott lover?? she's more than capable! that aside, Korea was no different than most other nations--they had a strong tradition of marrying family members to keep the blood 'pure' we may frown upon it but her marrying the king would be more than acceptable in this period
i realize now i watch these shows for the villains....they get the greatest range of expressions and their personalities seem to have more depth than any other character. for these reasons, i am all in now because of Jung Nan Jung and Lord Yoon...I also want to know about the Queen Dowader's motives O_o
second link has up to ch89 translated--there are 139 chps total hope that helps currently watching the flower in prison because i loved dong yi//i don't watch too many modern dramas although i liked the one about the alien and the actress
I'm a sucker for romance, so is there a love story worth mentioning in The Flower in Prison?
i bet she ends up with tae won...in his last drama the female lead hooked up with the king but there was a lot of chemistry with cheon soo...maybe he will satisfy that by allowing this character to be with a non royal?
Ha joon (king dude) has better romantic connection with Ok Nyeo . I hope writer make king as main role not support…
i am on episode seven and you guys are farther ahead but Ok Nyeo strikes me as not exactly innocent herself//her motives are certainly important but goodness i am surprised at the lengths she would go to just to learn about her past--it endangers the lives of innocent people! it doesn't make me dislike her but it WAS unexpected--given it is so not the norm for women of the period (refreshingly different) I can't wait for her to see the bigger picture--and how she is being used
am on episode and seven--the summary is a bit misleading. because she isn't exactly defending the people's honor, right now she is in it purely for herself. maybe this will change.
not only did i not expect things to be as they are at this point, I am finding myself trying to make sense of the heroine's motives--she is willing to put other people's lives in dangers for this information? this aside, the show is very similar to dong yi in terms of wit/humor, looking for info about a palace lady, but the female lead is less guardian angel and more....of a cute bruiser. as in she manages to maintain some sort of wholesome childish innocence while smashing in your face? either way the set/supporting characters/story is interesting enough for me to keep going. I am seriously itching to find out how in the hell the 'villains' fall out of power because their power base is so secure---even more so than dong yi because their behavior is truly the norm FYI I never saw jewels in the palace so i can't compare.
looks awesome--I loved the main actress in cuo dian yuan ying will add this to my ever-growing list now that I…
Already watched it!! I now tease my BF and call him SHIFU because why not? I have seen the deleted scenes but am still waiting for the 'deleted scenes' to turn up and am reading the novel (waiting on translations) the novel is way more violent and more sensual
please, please sub this because it looks friggin AWESOME just reading the comments...I saw some people said they didn't recognize the actors but I barely pay attention to that 'cuz I've noticed that (just like in the U.S.) a lot of actors are inconsistent in performance O_o
looks awesome--I loved the main actress in cuo dian yuan ying will add this to my ever-growing list now that I find wuxias have surpassed my kdrama obsession
Could you talk more about what you didn't like? I don't plan on responding, but for people who read the comments it may be helpful///when I read comments I find that people don't often go into detail about what they didn't like (although I don't blame them, some of the fans can be a bit...er defensive)
even when she was supposed to be 'bad' she was still good--she never set out to hurt anyone and look what happened, while the ones claiming they weren't out to hurt but save did the most damage!
Completely agree--especially with her character development and my god did the girl struggle--and she did not endanger herself deliberately, it was more like a bunch of things happened because she had no control over it, and her motives were always good--and she made the most sacrifices but i never felt like she was this girl who was doing it out of principal or to make a point--she acted on how she felt and what seemed like the best choice, and....stuff happened, most of it not good
it is translated up to chapter 82
